We love the rustic charm of stone walls. 🪨
That's why we created this scene to experiment with three different types of stone masonry.

Which one is your favorite?

The first wall is made of rubble coursed masonary, which means the stones are irregular in shape and size and laid without any definite pattern.

The second wall is made of random ashlar masonry, which means the stones are finely dressed and laid in random patterns.

The third wall is made of random rubble masonry, which means the stones are roughly dressed while retaining a variation in size and shape and laid without any definite pattern.

Each type of stone masonry creates a different ambiance within the space. The rubble coursed wall adds a sense of warmth and coziness, the random ashlar wall adds a sense of order and stability, and the random rubble wall adds a sense of sophistication and style.

The human factor is an important consideration in any high-rise building design. The way in which a building meets the ground plane and public space significantly influences the quality, character and life of the neighborhood.

With our design of the DGB HQ building, we catered to the building users and passers-by by providing building and landscape interfaces with the street that deliver safe, secure, and high amenity building entries and ground floor activities. We also maximized street activation and passive surveillance of the public realm through appropriate active street frontages.
