ISHDO took part in the National Tree Planting event organized by Authority for Civil Society Organizations in Ethiopia and Ethiopian Civil Society Council. The program was held on 5 August 2022, in Butajira town.

The ISHDO SUB - USAID Family Focused HIV Prevention Care and Treatment Activity FY2022 Third Quarter Performance Review Meeting has been carried out on 21 & 22 July 2022 at Canopy Hotel, Adama in the presence of the ISHDO staff from 11 SNU and HQ, Representatives of Sector Offices and Communities in the 11 SNUs and, others.

The ISHDO-USAID Family Focused HIV Prevention Care and Treatment Activity FY2022 Third Quarter Performance Review and FY2023 Annual Planning Meeting has been carried out from 13 to 15 July 2022 at Ayu International Hotel, Adama in the presence of the ISHDO Prime and Sub staff, Oromia Health Bureau, Key project staff of Sub implementing partners, members of technical support team of HOPE Ethiopia and, others.

The Ethiopian CSOs in partnership with the Authority for CSOs organized a CSOs Week, which was held at Addis Ababa Hilton Hotel from 30 June to 2nd July, 2022. ISHDO and about 100 other CSOs showcased their development programs and projects in Ethiopia. Thousands of people have been visited the exhibition, including some members of our board and the Executive Director.

Dr. Ergoge Tesfaye, Minster of Women and Social Affairs visited the exhibition following the official opening program,

USAID Deputy Mission Director with Health Leadership visited ISHDO’s Bole Drop-in Centre, which is part of the USAID/PSI MULU Key Population HIV Prevention, Care and Treatment Activity and met with young female s*x workers. The team appreciated the remarkable work of ISHDO in combatting the HIV epidemic by reaching key population with comprehensive HIV services

The ISHDO Sub Implementing Partner of USAID Family Focused HIV Prevention Care and Treatment Activity organized the FY 2022 First Quarter Performance Review Meeting, which was held at Bishoftu BIN International Hotel on February 10 and 11, 2022, in the the presence of the concerned technical staff of ISHDO Prime, ISHDO SUB staff from the Head Office and the field, and Representatives of Oromia sector offices.

The ISHDO-USAID Family Focused HIV Prevention Care and Treatment Activity FY 2022 First Quarter Performance Review Meeting was held at Bishoftu BIN International Hotel on 31st January and 1st February in the presence of the ISHDO Prime and Sub staff, Board members, Official Representatives of Oromia Health Bureau, Representatives of Sub implementing partners, members of technical support team of HOPE Ethiopia and, others.

New Project Launching Workshop.
The Sustainable Community Based Psychosocial and Livelihood Support for the Returnees and Potential Migrants Project, was launched at Butajira Town on Sunday 5 December 2021 in the presence of representatives of Silte Woreda and Silte Zone government officials and concerned ISHDO staff. The program was officially opened by the representative of the Zone and the Executive Director of ISHDO, Ato Aklilu Nega. The project will be implemented in Silte Zone and it will target about 300 returnees and potential migrants

የሀገርን ደህንነት እና ሰላም ለመጠበቅ የሁሉም ባለ ድርሻ አካላት ርብርብ ወሳኝ በመሆኑ ሀገር በቀል ሆነ በተለያዩ NGO የተቋቋማችሁ ድርጅትና የምታገለግሉትን ህብረተሰብ ማንነትና ምንነት እየለዩ ማስተናገድ ለምትደግፏቸው ህጻናትም ሆነ ለአካባቢ ሰላም ትልቅ ድርሻ አለው ያሉት ዶ/ር ሃና የሺንጉስ የሴቶች፣ ህጻናት እና ማህበራዊ ጉዳይ ቢሮ ኃላፊ ናቸው፡፡

እንደ ዶ/ር ሃና የሺንጉስ ገለጻ አሁን ላይ ሀገራችን ካለችበት ፈታኝ ሁኔታ ወጥታ አንዲት ኢትዮጵያን ለማቆም ሁሉም ዜጋ የተሰማራበት የስራ መስክ በበለጠ ቁርጠኝነት መስራት ሀገርን ለመጠበቅ ከሚዋደቁ አካላት ያልተናነሰ ተግባር እየፈጸመ መሆኑን ሊገነዘብ ይገባል ብለዋል፡፡

በፕሮግራሙ ላይ ኢሽዶን ወክለው አቶ ሲሳይ ገብረእግዚአብሄር የተገኙ ሲሆን፤ በተሰጠው ማሳሰቢያ መሰረት ከቀትር ቡሃላ ደም በመለገስ የበኩላቸውን አስተዋ ኦ አበርክተዋል;፡ ሁሉም ሰራተኛ የበኩሉን እንዲያከናውን እናበረታታለን;፡፡

General Staff orientation & induction program was held on 15 Oct. 2021 at Getfam Hotel, Addis Ababa. The program enabled staff to be aware of ISHDO's organizational policies and procedures. Further more, it created a good opportunity for staff to know each other and discuss on issues of their concerns regarding, HR, logistics and transport services, procurement and financial systems and working procedures. The program was started with an opening remark of Ato Aklilu Nega, Executive Director of ISHDO and was facilitated by Dr. Girmachew Mamo, Chief of Party for USAID Family Focused HIV Prevention, Care and Treatment Activities in Oromia.
