Rehearsing Hospitalities is back with its spring programme in May. Save the date and watch this space for more information! ******* Redistributions 🎙 on May 21 from 3 pm to 6 pm at Museum of Finnish Architecture 🏫 and online platforms of Frame Finland and #StopHatredNow ( UrbanApa ) ******* Redistributions brings together a performative intervention by artist Karolina Kucia, and a roundtable discussion with researcher Alemanji Aminkeng Atabong and artist Noah Fischer among others. Organised by Frame Contemporary Art Finland in collaboration with the anti-racist platform #StopHatredNow and the Museum of Finnish Architecture, the event presents different approaches to redistribution of power and wealth while examining institutional and educational infra-architectures. A range of perspectives, emerging from democratic spatial practices to public institutions including schools and museums, are centred in the discussion. Two more weeks to go! ✨✨✨ Pilvi Takala’s new video installation Close Watch premieres at the Pavilion of Finland at the 59th International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia. The exhibition is curated by Christina Li. The multi-channel video installation is displayed within site-specific exhibition architecture in the Aalto Pavilion of Finland in Giardini. The exhibition is accompanied by a catalogue published by Mousse Publishing, and a website hosting further research and digital material. The 59th Biennale Arte is open from 23 April to 27 November, 2022.
