Keliakiaviikon kunniksi olemme kuotenkin päättäneet hieman laajentaa gluteenittomien tuotteidemme tarjontaa. Keskiviikosta perjantaihin löytyy rajoitettu määrä gluteenittomia korvapuusteja ja kahta eri gluteenitonta vuokaleipää: Yrtti-aurinkokuivattu tomaatti ja rouheinen siemen leipä. 🥖

Nämä gluteenittomat tuotteet ovat saatavilla suoraan kahvilasta, m***a suosittelemme varaamaan tuotteita etukäteen, koska niitä valmistetaan päivittäin rajoitettu määrä. Nouto klo 12 jälkeen.

✨FINNISH AEROPRESS CHAMPIONSHIPS✨

Yesterday’s AeroPress championships were EPIICCC! We had 27 impressive competitors, all from different coffee backgrounds ranging from home baristas to roastery owners! We watched as they brewed their way to the top 3 and then ultimately gave us our newest Finnish AeroPress Champion. You may think they were just ‘brewing coffee’ but yesterday we experienced at least one ‘explosive performance’, a competitor who’s biggest cheerleader was their dog in the first row, two world champions in one room, and some of the best sportsmanship we’ve ever seen at a coffee competition.

💪FINNISH AEROPRESS CHAMPIONSHIPS
The event begins at 15, competition starts at 16. The competition will be knock-out style and competitors will compete in groups of 3 until we have our new Finnish AeroPress Champion!

☕️COMPETITOR BREW BAR
After each round of competition, our competitors will move over to the brew bar and brew their competition coffee once more so that the audience can also try their recipes.

🌾OATLY LATTE ART THROWDOWN
Oatly will be present and taking over our espresso machine for a lil latte art side competition! Try out our Slayer Espresso Machine and make some art using Oatly’s newest ‘Light’ oat drink.

🍹 YOU&ME COCKTAIL BAR TAKEOVER
The talented gals from You&Me, a local cocktail bar, will be present and have created a special drink list just for this event!

💃AFTER PARTY
After we’ve crowned a winner, the after party begins! The winner will brew one more coffee for the audience at th Brew Bar. We’ll have a DJ, the girls from You&Me, and party vibes till 22!

Roosa is a UK based Finn who works as the European Sales Director for . She is the current UK Barista Champion but has also coached many champions globally. Her favorite part of her job is the people aspect of it. Even though she’s a Finn, most people don’t believe it when they first meet her. 🤩

Judge 2: Daniel Olinsky

Berlin based, Daniel Olinsky works at Cafe Imports Europe, an independently owned importer and certified B-Corporation. Cafe Imports Europe is the proud green sponsor of the national Finnish AeroPress Championship (for the second year in a row!), as well as the World AeroPress Championship.🤝

Another FNLD GRVL week for the books!🚴‍♀️

🍽️Our week started by hosting an amazing VIP dinner in our cafe with our friends at ! For one night only, we flipped our cozy cafe into an intimate fine dining experience for the VIPs attending the event. Delicious pasta, relaxed atmosphere, and happy customers!

☕️This year we also were asked by to come and serve coffee and buns at their tent during the expo! Of course we served our special FNLD GRVL coffee, a balanced mid-roast Brazilian, and then everyone’s favorite cinnamon buns baked fresh in our own bakery. Additionally, our friends at were serving our coffee on their espresso machine all weekend!

🚴We also had the pleasure of collaborating with companies such as and for various group rides along the week, all of which ended at our cafe with buns and coffee for all of the racers.

Big thanks to the whole FNLD GRVL team, sepecifically and for allowing us to play a part in this years successful event! Already looking forward to next year! 🚴🏻‍♂️

Jose Giraldo is a leading figure in coffee processing, and we couldn’t be more excited to share with you these two coffees processed by him! First up, we have the ultra-rare Wush Wush variety from his own farm in Quindio. It’s a full-blown competition coffee that has undergone 120 hours of anaerobic fermentation. It’s a very complex and lively coffee with notes of piña colada and strawberries.🍹🍓

Another coffee we’ve added is super sweet pink bourbon, which actually comes from the Acevedo region in Colombia, from the El Diamante farm, but was processed in Quindio by Jose Giraldo. This collaboration between Jose Giraldo and El Diamante aims to push the boundaries in the wild world of fermentation. This coffee has gone through an incredible 348 hours of fermentation and was introduced to a scoby, similar to those used in kombuchas. It’s a wild ride of flavors, showcasing notes of limoncello, papaya, and pineapple.🍍🍋

It is a 60-hour experimental anaerobic-fermented natural coffee that takes you to experience a little bit more funky side of things. From the tasting notes, we find nice wild blueberry 🫐 notes as well as Cuba Libre 🍹 (rum & coke) and cranberries 🍇.

Teos on tarina elämän epätäydellisyyden kauneudesta. Hyväksymällä elämä kokonaisuutena voimme nähdä ympäröivän maailman uusin värein. Teos koostuu kolmesta osasta, jotka kuljettavat
kokijan läpi sisäisen kasvutarinan.

Tämän teoksen myötä minulla on ollut etuoikeus tehdä yhteistyötä Lahden Konservatorion
