A Trust as an N.G.O. have its advantage when a group tries to access funding from international N.G.O.s; when local government is limited in their funding for projects in our communities. Our trust and faith in God's Word is the basis of our fundamental principles and philosophies we develop for our future generation. Our hard work and commitment is the only machinery that is available for us now to fuel our ship across the seas to a better future.

Traditional Land Boundaries Information
Traditional land boundaries information is important to be accessible by our younger generation today. We need to unite with a very clear understanding and conscience that issues on land are resolved amicably and that everyone living on the land are satisfied. There can never be peace when the very organ of the Vanua, our land and land boundaries are misconstrued. It is important that Land Owning Units (LOU) are clear and have accepted the past on their way forward, for without which could result in serious turmoil when wealth is disputed. We need to do our part as the LOU to keep our information, history, boundaries etc factual and stored safely.

Consideration for Women in the 'Na Yavutu' Trust

There is also no 'Extinct Mataqali' when the women carry the blood of the iTaukei generation, this which was exploited by selfish leaders of the past, the 'Na Yavutu' Trust considers a neglected Human Right.

The Traditional Governance vs British Governance Systems.

Setting Up of 'Na Yavutu' Branches
In the 'Na Yavutu' Trust Constitution - is included the setting up of branches that report to the Executive Committee. This allows inclusivity of the indigenous people outside the boundaries of our Vanua. Each Fijian, whether within Fiji or outside have their own access to their own Vanua through the Mataqali/Clan or Sub Clan/Tokatoka they have been registered under in the VKB (Vola-Ni-Kawabula). Therefore, no indigenous Fijian is left out in this regard.
