What a day! We hosted a spaying and neutering (de-sexing) campaign for the dogs 🐕 and cats 🐈 in Viani Bay. Thank you so much Julie Seidman and team from Taveuni Animal Lovers for your hard work and dedication. And a big vinaka vakalevu for everyone who brought their animals. Hoping we can do this again. There were still some male dogs in the queue when the sun set.

It's not all under water at the Rainbow Reef: Dakuniba village is a short boat ride from Viani Bay. After a Sevusevu ceremony, you hike up a water stream, discover ancient stone carvings and bath in freshwater pools. During rainy season this can be a bit of a swampy experience. A perfect trip if you want to experience unspoiled nature, Fijian culture and heritage off the beaten track. Vinaka vakalevu Chris and the people of Dakuniba to open the doors to your village.
