Good Morning clients: AUSTRALIAN SHIPMENT ONLY:

IT IS CLEARANCE TIME!

We would like to answer some of the common questions we get from the clients

1. If you are clearing on behalf of your relatives, you must get a written consent letter from the consignee with a copy of their joint card.

2. How much FRCS will charge VAT? We cannot answer this question because Duty or Vat is between FRCS & the Consignee. Bring extra money with you.

3. Location - We are based in Tamavua I Wai Road, Walu Bay. Before the delainevesi bridge, there is a turn off to the right. Come straight inside until you see a big building.

4. Can we bring a family member? Yes, you may, but the consignee will be allowed at the CFS due to OHS regulation. Your friend or family member will wait with security infront. Please avoid bringing children with you.

5. If you require carrier, please let us know & we can try to assist but it will be at your own cost.

6. What should I bring? A copy of your ID and joint card..

Dear Valued Client,

We are writing to inform you of a significant change in our policy that has been influenced by the recent adjustment in the government budget. Effective immediately all personal effects will no longer be exempt from duty and vat. This means that customs will now charge Vat for goods classified as personal effects goods.

Kindly note : if total of goods is less then $1,000.00 is subject to VAT only, if total of goods is above 1,000.00 is subject to Duty and VAT.

The exemption that was previously in place due to the Covid-19 pandemic is longer applicable. We kindly request that you disseminate this information to all our personal forwarder to ensure they are aware of this change.

In addition, the pre-inspection procedure will no longer be applied. We now require the owner of the goods to be present during the inspection and Vat at the same time.

We will require all agent/ consignor to please provide a proper packing list with the value of good being sent to Fiji..
