The students from the LVMH chair had the incredible opportunity to present their ideas at the LVMH Fragrance Brands’ headquarters. 🌟

The students spent the semester working hard to find new innovative ideas on how to enhance the retail experience through the use of Artificial Intelligence for Parfums Givenchy. Three teams shared their insights last week with the team and received valuable feedback that enhanced their understanding of the industry.

Last Friday, the LVMH Chair had the pleasure of exploring the V***e Clicquot vineyards, marking our final visit of the year. 🍾🌷

We began with a tour of the vegetable gardens, learning about the sustainable practices integral to V***e Clicquot’s viticulture. This was followed by an exploration of the vineyard’s rich history, offering fascinating insights into its heritage. The highlight of our visit was a beautiful picnic on the picturesque grounds, featuring a special tasting of V***e Clicquot’s exquisite rosé champagne. The lunch sourced elements from all the local food producers in the region. The combination of delightful flavors and sunny weather made the experience truly exceptional.

Last week, the LVMH Chair had the opportunity to attend Viva Technology 2024! 💫

The technology conference had over 13,500 startups and 400 speakers that were dedicated to innovation to solve some of the world’s largest challenges. The students started the day by attending a talk about balancing personalization and privacy in today’s environment. Aurélia Bettati, Sylvain Le Borgne, Mathias Chaillou and Helen Miall discussed AI marketing and how to ensure the practices are ethical. After students explored the LVMH booths to get a better understanding of technological advancements in the luxury realm.

Exploring Innovation at Station F!🚀✨

An incredible visit to Station F with LVMH’s La Maison des Startups showcased the state-of-the-art facilities and visionary founders, offering a dive into innovation and luxury’s future.

Amazing pitches from 4GIFT, ABSOLUTE LABS, VIDMOB, and AIVE highlighted cutting-edge solutions. The synergy between LVMH and these startups emphasized creativity and boundary-pushing.

Huge thanks to the LVMH team and inspiring startups. This experience broadened perspectives on open innovation and modern entrepreneurship.

Last week, the LVMH Chair students had the incredible opportunity to be hosted by Parfums Christian Dior at their amazing Kosmo HQ in Neuilly.

Hosting us were Laura Hingel, Global Head of Talent Acquisition, who introduced us to the Maison & their core values - and of course, Louise McGhee, the enigmatic Portfolio Director responsible for the unprecedented launch of J’Adore Parfum d’Eau.

It was, indeed, the perfect premise for our students to learn concretely about the delicate nuances of Balancing Heritage and Innovation in the luxury world.

In mid February, the LVMH 33rd Promotion had the pleasure of welcoming the Maison FRED team : Industrial & Supply Chain Director, Valentin ANDRES, and Hr Director, Maud MENARD.

Our students were able to dive deep into supply chain management and present their case studies on “Last Mile Delivery Challenge” to exchange feedback and ideas. It was an incredible chance for our students to learn firsthand how supply chain functions in a luxury house.

We are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with FRED Jewelry and many thanks for sharing their expertise with our students.

What an exclusive and unforgettable opportunity to visit the historic family home of Louis Vuitton in Asnières!

The LVMH Chair students learned about the journey of the man and the brand through the ages, thanks to the compelling knowledge of Thierry de Longevialle, director of Maison Louis Vuitton.

We also discovered the meticulous savoir faire that goes into heavy handcrafted bespoke order in these ateliers, and had a glimpse of the brand’s recently launched video game, Louis!

This immersion left everyone with a deeper appreciation for Louis Vuitton and its continued commitment to craftsmanship, heritage, and innovation!

They imparted valuable pointers on effectively seeking opportunities in the luxury industry. They also challenged us to discover our strengths & motivations, and guided us on how to insightfully apply ourselves when meeting HR & hiring managers.

We now feel ready for the many meetings we have ahead with the different LVMH Maisons, thanks to this seminar! ✨

This year, three groups from the LVMH Chair were given the opportunity to deliver business case proposals to centered on one of its most valued collections, Pretty Woman.

Earlier this month, we enjoyed visits to the to learnthe ins and outs of the hotel, plus its luxury offers & services.

We are incredibly thankful to our very own alumna Alice Gay, Head of Housekeeping & Butlers who passionately imparted her journey and the amazing universe of the Cheval Blanc.

Learning about luxury hospitality has been an inspiring experience for us all!

Two weeks ago we had the chance to meet Carole Collet, Director of Maison/0, the Central Saint Martin x LVMH Creative Platform for Regenerative Luxury. She introduced us to the evolving reality of Regenerative Design and showed us practical examples of products developed by Maison/0.

It was a timely message and a crucial challenge to us students to keep regenerative design in mind once we start our careers, especially during these challenging times for our environment!

Last April, the LVMH Maison des Startups welcomed the LVMH Chair students at Station F to learn more about the startup activities within the group and to hear interesting & innovative pitches from three successful partners: Levita, Bambuser and GreenGen. Thankful to have had this opportunity to discover and immerse in yet another side of the LVMH universe.

Last April, the students working on the business case for Champagne Mercier were graciously invited to the Visitor Center in Epernay where they experienced the impressive underground train tour of the cellars and had a tasting of the maison’s top varieties with Chef de Cave, Christophe Bonnafond.

We ended the day with a business case discussion in the beautiful grounds of Maison Moët on Avenue de Champagne. Surely, this business case is off to a productive start!

It’s finally time to announce the three partner brands of the 32nd promotion of the LVMH Chair. This year the students will be collaboration in exciting projects with Champagne Mercier, Fred joaillier and Guerlain.
