🚲️ C’est ce matin qu’a été inaugurée la portion cyclable de 5 km entre le barrage de la Coche à Grand-Aigueblanche et Les Thermes de La Léchère, un maillon de l’itinéraire qui reliera à terme Moûtiers à Feissons-sur-Isère. À l’échelle départementale, la volonté est d’offrir aux cyclistes une voie dédiée entre Albertville et Bourg-Saint-Maurice soit plus de 60 km en mobilité douce et un raccordement potentiel à la Belle Via à Albertville ! Dans le cadre de son plan vélo, le Conseil départemental soutient financièrement la réalisation de cet itinéraire cyclable.

COUPE DU MONDE DE SKI ALPINISME 2024/2025
Après avoir été la première station à avoir créé un parcours de ski alpinisme balisé, damé et sécurisé en 2012 devenu la référence en épreuve de Vertical Race grâce à l’événement « Millet Ski Touring Courchevel », Courchevel est en phase de devenir la première station à se doter d’un parcours permanent de Sprint.
Les travaux ont débuté cette semaine au pied de la piste de l’Eclipse à proximité du départ des MSTC sous le regard averti d’ Emily Harrop championne du monde de ski alpinisme !
Ce nouveau parcours sera inauguré le samedi 14 décembre lors de la première épreuve de Coupe du Monde 2024/2025 qui se déroulera à Courchevel du 12 au 15 décembre 2024 et sera qualificative pour les JO de Cortina 2026.

Jeremy Clarkson speaks out on making his pub sell British only. He said: "I have tried my absolute hardest to make sure that every single thing you consume in The Farmer’s Dog was grown or reared by British farmers. And I have failed.

"Yes, the pork, the beef, the lamb and the venison are all British. And so is pretty much everything else. The milk, the butter, the eggs, the vegetables and the fruit. We even cook in British oils.

"But there have been some problems like, for instance, the simple G&T.

"You can’t have a pub that doesn’t offer a gin and tonic. But there is quinine in tonic water, and you can’t grow that in Britain. Sure, I could have served gin and water instead, but I didn’t think you’d enjoy it very much. Especially as, instead of a slice of lemon, you’d have been given a slice of turnip, or some potato peelings.

"You can, however, run a pub that doesn’t serve avocado or Coca-Cola, so we don’t. Instead, we offer you British fizzy drinks made with British grown fruit. And British grown tea. And before you ask, yes, the wine is British too.

"As is the Hawkstone, obviously.

"So, that’s it really. We’re delighted to be doing all we possibly can to support British farming and we’re delighted that you’re here to help us.

"Thank you."
