After almost 9 years of waiting, I finally practiced with Shiva, not in the US but in Paris ! ! (Even better!)
•
It was such a lovely, freeing & meditative practice.
•
This training brought me back to what really captivated me about vinyasa : a moving meditation
•
We are often too focused on the “right way” to do yoga poses ; too strict and academic in placing students in positions.
•
These practices and ideas become binding and restrictive for the body and mind (and not at all fun).
•
At the end of the day the only question that matters is : is it safe?
•
There are SO many ways to pose - lighten up & enjoy dancing with your breath!
•

After passing an amazing 4 days with and a fierce team of yogis in Paris, I figured a little Eiffel Tower post was in order. 😜

I wanna give a whole-hearted shout out to my yoga school home back in NYC, where my teaching journey and the immense deepening of my personal practice began : ( )
I left for France not long after the training but what you shared with me carries on till this day - you are and always will be my teachers 🙏 thank you ! 🕉🤍
