Oggi Gooseart Gallery presenta un opera dell'artista Giulia Maglionico facente parte di un progetto contro la Violenza delle donne in collaborazione con l'attore Mirko Trovato testimonial di un messaggio di affermazione dei diritti delle donne, con testo redazionale della critica d'arte Francesca Baboni:
KIDNAP THE PIN UP
"Nella celebre opera cinquecentesca "Ganimede rapito dall'aquila" di Antonio Allegri, detto il Correggio, ispirata al mito classico, il bel ragazzo troiano viene rapito dal lussurioso Zeus; questa, innamoratasi di lui, si trasforma in un'aquila per afferrarlo e portarlo sull'Olimpo per scopi predatori, rendendolo il coppiere degli dei e il suo amante.
Giulia Maglionico sostituisce il giovane, che nella sua sicura ingenuità si aggrappa alle ali dell'uccello per non cadere, un sensuale Pin Up che volontariamente si aggrappa agli artigli dell'animale con malizia e autodeterminazione per farsi rapire.
"Kidnap the Pin Up", che può essere considerata una sottocartella della nuova serie Pin Up Revolution, in cui sensuali femminili ispirate alle Pin Up anni '50 disegnate da Peter Driben fanno ap-pello al loro diritto di essere sexy, gioca sull'antico riferimento del rapimento sessuale (come accade anche ad esempio nel Ratto delle Sabine) per riportarci ad un revival della scena in chiave pop contemporanea. E lo fa con sagacia, mostrando la volontà di una donna moderna di affermare la propria sessualità e la ritrovata consapevolezza, contro la violenza psicologica di un uomo con-trollante e imponente, che non le permette di esprimersi.
La femmina, che si trasforma da preda in predatore, sorride maliziosamente mentre si aggrappa discretamente in calze al suo predatore scegliendo di essere conquistato.
L'animale in questo caso, è un'aquila/Zeus realizzata dall'artista sul disegno del tatuatore romano, Federico Ceruso aka Pepemaniak, che ha tatuato il soggetto sul petto di un giovane attore, Mirko Trovato, testimonial di un messaggio di affermazione dei diritti delle donne che non deve più essere solo di interesse femminile ma che deve necessariamente riguardare tutti.
E come all'inizio di un videogioco, prende il via il rischio di seduzione, con la pressione del pulsante start della schermata iniziale che accende il fuoco della passione e il dettaglio del defibrillatore che l'artista ha tatuato sul polso che si trasforma in una miccia di inaudita potenza, un'allegoria ironicamente appassionata anche sull'amore bruciante in una situazione esplosiva.
Perché una sana e colta ironia non manca mai nelle opere di Giulia Maglionico, anche se spesso nascosta dietro temi di impegno sociale e di genere."
