Designed by  for , this stool embodies the essence of Italian marble craftsmanship and modern machine carving.
Ideal for both indoor and outdoor use, it comes in two versions – a low-back chair and a stool – with finish options in Rosso Verona, Travertino, Bianco Carrara, or Nero Marquina.

The monolithic form showcases the pure beauty of each stone’s metamorphosis, creating poetic textures and stories. With a curved seat for added comfort, it draws inspiration from archaic period’s objects, hence the name "Thebes".
McGannon Saad wanted to emphasize the inherent qualities of marble as a material, as the company has been renowned for its natural stone since the 1960’s in the Veneto region.

For the SaloneSatellite 2023 ‘‘Building the (Im)possible’’ curated by Marva Griffin, we presented ‘‘Seto Collection’’ which balances proportions from different ethnicities with contemporary aesthetics. The furniture system is demountable, based on a circular process, and made by local artisans with durable ash wood. The chairs, low tables, and stool are flat packed and easily transportable; conceived for the digital nomad’s lifestyle.

The Seto low tables are produced by local Lebanese artisans. Minimal oak inlays on the top, a gesture as an homage to Nour's grandfather lifetime work as a craftsman, and founder of the wood production workshop where the collection was made.

The arched pieces and joints of the Seto stool are based on the structural concept of tension and compression, meaning it is using the person’s weight sitting on it to stabilize. The stool and chair are reinforced by 4 screws only, hence reducing the use of glue to minimum.

Exhibition & Graphic Design: McGannon Saad

A personal exhibition dedicated to the works of the French photographer Alexandre Dufaye, presenting two series of photographs: “Retour sur Terre’’ (Return to Earth) and “Repenser le Vivant’’ (Rethinking the Living).
The approach was to work with pure and minimal gestures to support the storytelling, and guide the visitors through the spaces of the prestigious Gallery of the Charles N***e Museum of Photography.

The space design remains in silence, leaving the stage for the large scale photographs to take the visitors in this journey of contemplation, on the Camarghe and the Salin de Giraux naturalistic worlds; unveiling the artist’s imagination.

MGGANNON SAAD was founded in 2022 by Jules McGannon and Nour Abi Saad.
Following many years of experience in Milan where they grasped the Italian Design culture and refined their eye for aesthetics, they moved to the French Riviera working together as digital nomads, open to collaborate on projects all around the planet.
Their approach is based on research, design thinking, circularity, art, attention to context and detail. Their philosophy embraces diversity, cultural mixity, elegance, balance and proportion, contamination, and a never-ending search for the abstract concept of beauty.
They operate in the fields of interior architecture, industrial product design, retail, hospitality, residences, graphics, and temporary installations.
