The spring classics are well under way, and we have one of our own just around the corner. Join us at The Service Course Nice on Saturday 16th March, for our annual road trip to San Remo to see the finale of the historic Milan San Remo, with a pre-Poggio pizza stop and the option to jump on the train back to Nice, or double your distance for the day.

The ride is free to join but please sign up by emailing the team or popping into the shop.

This weekend we have the next instalment of our Sunday Salida Iconic Cols summer series taking place as we tackle Col Saint-Roch - a long, quiet - and absolutely spectacular - climb.

Join us bright and early this Sunday (13th August) at 8.15am, ready to roll for this challenging 97km + 1,750m route.

And next month, it’s the big one - Cime de la Bonette, “the highest paved road” in the Alps/France/Europe - debate and delete as you see best…

Whatever its claim to fame, no words can do justice to the sheer scale and beauty of this monster of a mountain pass. And we’re climbing it twice! First, from the south starting from Saint-Etienne-de-Tinée, riding 25.4km + 1,658m in one hit, eventually arriving at the 2,802m summit.

We’ll then float down to Jausiers for lunch, only to turn around and face the 23.km + 1,586m ascent to return to the summit, ready for the final, thrilling descent of the day.

The ride totals 98km + 3,309m, and is destined to be a day to remember.

Inevitably, Le Tour has got us dreaming of riding France’s most famous cols ourselves.

And we have our fair share on the doorstep of The Service Course Nice, with the next installment of our Iconic Cols summer series taking place this very weekend.

Join us this Sunday to experience the spectacular Col Saint-Martin aka La Colmiane, as featured in TDF stages in 1973, 1975 and most recently in 2020, as well as at multiple editions of Paris-Nice.

As far as local loops go, it doesn’t get much more epic: 144km + 2,280m, climbing from Roquebillière-Vieux to the east, with the main climb stats as follows.

With the wind in the right direction, we’ll be back at the shop in plenty of time to enjoy Stage 15, an epic mountain battle in the Alps, concluding with a summit finish at Saint-Gervais Mont Blanc.

An extra special weekend @ The Service Course Nice

Join us this Saturday for a social gravel ride - with a bit of spice - meeting up at 8.30am and rolling out at 9am. Indeed, be warned - the gravel riding on the Côte d'Azur is not for the faint-hearted. These stunning coastal views must be earned with some challenging climbing to contend with and some tricky technical patches to negotiate. So whilst this is very much a social ride where we’ll enjoy the adventure together and regroup along the way, it is geared more towards relatively confident and experienced riders. With that said, everybody is welcome, and please do reach out to us in advance of the weekend if you have any questions about the route, bikes, tyres and so on. The route is 90km with 1,800m of climbing.

If that’s not enough, we’re skipping our regular Sunday Salida shop ride in favour of a recovery ride with two superstars of their respective sports, taking place this Monday, 29th May. Join our special guests - the morning after the Monaco Grand Prix, and - fresh from her awesome back to back victories at and , as well as the crew as they pass through France ahead of the inaugural edition of FNLD GRVL taking place on June 10th 2023 in Lahti, Finland. We’ll be riding one of Tiffany’s favourite recovery loops - 55km (on the road), with 800m of climbing - at an easy going “party pace”. Our monthly Sunday Salida + Iconic Cols ride series is back for the summer months, starting this weekend with the majestic Col de la Madone.

Join us to enjoy these incredible climbs we are so lucky to have on our doorstep, with friendly ride leaders guiding the way and the best coffee in Nice awaiting your return to the old town.

The Morning After the Race Before…

Save the date for a recovery spin with a twist at The Service Course Nice, taking place on Monday 29th May, with special guest ride leaders and .

The dust will still be settling on the Monaco Grand Prix, as we get the inside scoop from one of F1’s most accomplished drivers - and most passionate cyclists - in a uniquely relaxed environment.

Pre-ride coffee and cake will be on the house before we roll out to enjoy one of Tiffany’s go-to training loops, riding our beautiful local roads together at an easy going pace.

This ride forms part of ’s “On the Road” series which brings cyclists together around the world in the build up to the first edition of FNLD GRVL, a brand new gravel event taking place in Valterri’s home town of Lahti, Finland on 10th June 2023, with route options ranging from 40 to 177km.

Nice-San Remo-Nice: what a day!

As the pros set sail from Milan, a mini-peloton of our own had just cruised over the Italian border with the same destination in mind, but taking a somewhat more leisurely approach to the day.

With a mid-ride pizza party in the bag, we scaled the Poggio and waited excitedly for the race to fly by. And as luck would have it, we’d picked our perch to perfection, with MVDP launching his stunning attack right before our eyes. Wow!

Needless to say, spirits were in the sky as we promptly raced back to Nice with the wind on our backs and the sun setting on yet another iconic edition of Milan San Remo - and a truly unforgettable day.
