Welcome to the HYPNOS Jewellery Box that we designed for JUNK Saint-Germain. The total metal interior gives a minimalistic feel, yet we embellished it with decorative industrial details, vast volumes that protrude from the wall and custom furniture seem to be carved out.

THE FRENCH BASTARDS — LILLE 🤎
A pleasure to deliver our fourth project for and second in the city of Lille.

THE FRENCH BASTARDS — LILLE

Introducing our fourth project for , in which we designed their latest boutique to take cues from Lille’s industrial heritage, blending older structural elements and ornate decorations with a more modern and contemporary approach.

For this particular corner, we created a built-in banquette with a blocky-brutalist form and an integrated vitrine display. This contrasted with the original decorative carpentry-works on the wall, framing the lights. We unified both elements by developing a heavily textured concrete coating that brought the DNA of TFB to the space. In keeping further with the theme of contrast, we commissioned the creation of two appliques by reusing a vintage candle chandelier and installing two glass neons to bring a contemporary touch and warmth.

Our first project in the city of Bordeaux!

The first HYPNOS residential project; an apartment in Saint-Germain-de-Pres, Paris.

Complete rennovation including structural changes, window replacements, creation of custom built-in-elements and total redesign/ decoration.

The bedroom consisted in the creation of a custom headboard in black lacquer, framing a moirée fabric from and a bathroom which we doubled the size of by removing a dividing wall, then recessed a bathtub into a block of béton-cire volume that wrapped around the wall to become a shelf for the shower.

Welcome to our latest project for in Paris’ 8th arrondissement, maintaining our widely-recognised aesthetic based upon the first we delivered in 2022. We elevated it by bringing in higher-quality materials with more refined finishes and integrated elements, such as the vitrine glass display and standing desk, created with folded stainless steel.

ZYVA x HYPNOS
A pizza-dough-inspired welcome desk sets the tone whilst squirts of tomato-red grouting outline mini-tiles and details. The tubular lighting system, suspended from the ceiling is informed by NYC scaffolding.

KAWA by HYPNOS
Stainless steel drawers and shelves are framed by wood columns that extend up to the diffused lights in the ceiling, which bring an ambient tone to the space. A pair of Devon Ojas speakers are suspended by threaded cables.

KAWA, a speciality coffee shop in Paris that has won global awards for their roasted beans.

HYPNOS designed a 5m bar in stainless steel and wood, supported by glass bricks that give the impression of levitation. A library of products on display are framed by wooden beams which extend to the ceiling, framing a series of diffused lights. Sound system by Devon Ojas.

The design of flagship in Paris began with the reorganisation of the space.

We proposed an extra-large diagonal bar which gave a greater surface for the customer as they entered, providing more impact. On the workers side, the compacted space allowed for faster access to the two interior sides.

Mirrors on the ceiling and reflective surfaces gave the impression of a larger, lighter space. But we’ll get onto the materials in a different post… ⚔️🌪
