Focusing on nice cotton canvas and working with Wickett&Craig US vegetable tanned leather. Very pleasing materials to work with.
A collection with a more mature style. At that time we learnt a lot of maroquinerie techniques with a skillful worker. How to work the shapes, the building methods. How to sew and finish the treads with discreet nodes in the back... Lots of invisible details that make the bag standkng nice and lasting loooong.

Kapok x Teddyfish

A long time support from Kapok's Arnault who started to distribute our creations in his shops since quite the beginning of our brand 🙏🙏 So grateful all these years.

Here is a crossover bag we made in 2014.
Handmade silkscreen on cotton canvas with a pattern of kapok tree leaves we created.
For who knows, kapok trees are huge in HK. And leaves are only on top part. We were struggling for few days to get some nice and clear photos of the leaves. We didn't like the shots of the leaves from above or by zooming with the lens... Of course, googling some pictures is no fun.
Then one night a tropical typhoon litterally tore off a huge branch of kapok tree close to our workshop. So yes we struggled but we took it back in the studio for a photo shooting.
For who knows, tropical trees are full of bugs too 😱 It was quite epic, and afterwards, funny.
