This photo takes me back to a breathtaking hotel experience on the island of Koh Samui.

I really like how the palm trees beautifully frame the top of the image, drawing our attention to the endless horizon and blue waters that stretch as far as the eye can see. 👀

Landing of our plane in Ho Chi Minh around 5 am, then Taxi to drop off our bags at the hotel. ✈️

On the way I can never stop myself from having my camera in my hand, even if I have bags on me, and very tired.
There can be a beautiful scene of life to photograph in the morning. And I’m not the type to let this kind of moment pass. ☀️

In fact, I was at a market in Bangkok and blocks of ice were being unloaded for a fish store.

I found this scene quite interesting, because it was very hot outside and because they were unloading them on the ground. ☀️

With this photo I wanted to highlight this fisherman, who I find by his posture and the light behind, gives him a form of mystery, of respect.

It is for these reasons that I wanted to put this photo in black and white. 👀

In reality, she was a very smiling lady who introduced us to her village on the water, in Halong Bay. 🛶

We were in the neighborhoods near the market in the town of Hoi An. If you know, almost the entire town has yellow walls. 🟨

This blue wall immediately caught my attention, and that's when I saw the old lady there with her little stand.

I didn't dare take the photo the first time and it was only 10 minutes later when I walked past it again, and the scene was the same, that I told myself that I wouldn't have a 3rd chance. So I took the photo, and here it is.

📸 I remember thinking (while pressing the shutter button) that I should edit it to black and white to accentuate the nostalgic vibe.

But once I was editing it, I found that something was missing…

That's why I made a double exposure to convey the crowded atmosphere of Chinatown.

We attend an evening of Thai boxing fights, in the city of Chiang Mai, located north of Bangkok.

And during the break I witness this scene where the fighter listens attentively to the advice of her coach.

We realize through the photo the discipline and the confidence, magic moments. 🤝🏼
