The cherry on top of this project? Customizing the court with a waterjet-created rendition of the school's crest. 😉

That's the vision of the brand-new Revo.Munich. This architectural marvel is redefining the concept of modern hospitality by skillfully blending the sophistication of a hotel with the warmth of an apartment. Here, business travel takes on an entirely new flavor!

🎨 The complex, designed by Delugan Meissl Associated Architects (DMAA), captivates everyone with its striking white exterior and round window openings. The rooms, tailored to individual needs (sleeping, working, living, and hybrid), are adorned with our DLW "Lino Art Urban" linoleum flooring.

A wise choice that enhances the interior design conceived by BWM Architektur & Design, featuring four subtle shades of gray – "Dark Concrete Grey", "Flashy Asphalt Grey", "Bold Grey", and "Silver Grey". Floors composed of 98% organic and mineral raw materials, offering optimal durability and indoor air quality.

It was on Gerflor floors that the French team was crowned European Handball Champions last night, against Denmark.

After a breathless semi-final, the French once again had to surpass themselves to come back from behind, against a Danish team remarkable for its precision and commitment. The self-sacrifice and solidarity of the French finally enabled them to come out on top and take home the cup, 10 years after their last victory. 💪

In the end, the French team benefited from a penalty and a red card to draw level with their Danish opponents.

France-Denmark: A dream final for the spectators, who numbered over 15,000.
This event, organised by Germany, generated as much excitement as it did an audience. Never before has a handball competition attracted so many people!

Germany, which invented the sport a century ago, saw its championship venues packed to the rafters. All 64 matches in the competition were sold out!

The floors on which the athletes from all over Europe competed will be reused for the European Junior Championships, to be held this summer in Slovenia.

Thanks to Gerflor's entire value chain with our partners Gerflor Deutschland, who supervised and trained the technical teams, the players were able to give their best throughout the competition.

Because our high-performance floors can be reused after a competition, to the delight of future champions 😉

Euro 2024 men's handball: France on top of Europe after another incredible match!

And it was on our Taraflex soil that the Blues came from behind to beat Denmark after an extremely close match that went to extra time (33-31).

The French team has clinched its first European title since 2014! 💪

The great favourites of the competition, Denmark will indeed be in the final of Euro 2024 handball and will face France on Sunday (5.45pm) in Cologne, in a replay of the 2014 final.

The Danes eliminated the host country, Germany, on Friday 26 January in the second semi-final of the continental competition (29-26).

France qualified for the final thanks in no small part to Elohim Prandi's exceptional shot against Sweden, flashed at over... 118 km/h!
An exceptional spectacle, full of twists and turns.

As for the match between Denmark and Germany, the evening was equally lively, with the Danes having to wait until the second half to take the lead.

With our ESD GTI EL5 tiles, we equipped over 20,000m² of the ACC - Automotive Cells Company Gigafactory in Billy-Berclau… a huge project!

This humongous installation required special care to satisfy the strict requirements of the industrial industry:

➡️ Particulate emissions management
➡️ Resistance to heavy traffic
➡️ Humidity control

As well as meeting the project’s technical needs, we were also able to stick to the project’s tight deadlines thanks to our GTI EL5 tiles’ quick installation.
