I believe there’s a holiday in December coming up, so I guess we’ll be preparing g for that next. 🎄

Cas has decided to take it easy today, it’s hard work being a dog 😴

New material is finally here! This week is going to be spent making up some bandanas and collars in preparation for halloween, as well as working on a custom wedding collar and bandana.

Here’s a sneak preview of the new Banana Bandana being modelled by Cas.

Finally, after much deliberation, the order for new material has been placed. Nine new designs will be making their way to the store in the next few weeks, which will of course include some glow in the dark Halloween designs! 🎃🕷

🐾 Today is the 31st anniversary of the Dangerous Dog Act which bans the ownership of four dog breeds in the UK.

This outdated Act means that every year we are forced to put dogs to sleep on the instruction of a court even though they have never harmed anyone. But an outdated law has determined they are dangerous. If they were any other breed, they’d be off to a loving forever home for a second chance at the life they deserve.

We believe there is and dangerous dogs should be assessed on their behaviour not their breed.

We are calling for a review on this dated legislation.

Happy International Cat Day! 😻

While I don’t currently make cat collars, there are two cat employees at Apawcalypse HQ; Eevee (overseer and model) and Beerus (quality control and model).

So happy cat day to them, and thanks for all the work* you put in to making the collars special.
* and by work I mean work the extra work created for me in removing cat hair from the freshly ironed material you’ve chosen to sleep on.

! ** Please note while the cats occasionally model the collars briefly for photo purposes (as the dog is a bit too hairy) these collars are not suitable for cats and should not be put on any cat as an accessory ** !

So first off, apologies for this page being so quiet, the collar making had to take a bit of a back seat while I was organising my wedding! But I'm now able to invest much more time in this and I've included some doggo tax photos from the wedding to make up for the lack of presence too!

Secondly, if you're still following, then thanks so much for sticking with me (although chances are you may have just forgotten you were). So all stock is currently still available, although I do believe I am running low on one or two. As I type this I currently have some new fabric sitting in a basket, I just need to stop being so indecisive and decide on what to order. There will definitely be some glow in the dark Halloween designs though!
