We have had the most amazing 2024 season with Disney, Competitons and shows and it’s now the end of Ailsa’s time with us. We wish you well on your Uni course and will look back on our memories we share together with lots of laughter.

Whilst we will miss you in the studio we know you won’t be a stranger and when you are at home, just like our other leavers, you will come in and see us.

Just back from competition 2 of a 3 week in a row comp month and the teachers are a little broken - not sure how the kids are !

The whole team danced so well this weekend with many placings. I may get a list of winners from the kids in due course and will then post.

But I just want to say a huge thank you to all the parents in our school and staff who chip in and go over and above to help run this competition. It’s as much your competition as it is ours !

Get some rest everyone. It’s a big week ahead with lots of show prep to be done.
Ps. Photo is only with the kiddos who stayed until the end tonight. I think this is only 1/3rd of our competition team !

Tonight we had so much fun in Dance class and Musical Theatre.

Our Thursday dancers have progressed so so much and it’s a great hard working but fun atmosphere in classes.

Fabulous weekend at Starpower. It was lovely to be able to do this competition again. It was a long time ago since we competed at a Starpower competition. Infact Kat who now works at Starpower and organises their UK competitions was a competitor with us. It certainly was a full circle moment !!

We won so many awards that it’s impossible to actually list them. I don’t need to shout about how fab Team Awesome is - the photos do that for me.

One big happy team who just love to perform together. Everyone shone and the fact that I’ve had to break hearts by saying at multiple award ceremonies we can’t use the scholarships to New York, Myrtle Beach and the Cruise Invites as our diary is so jam packed for next year already speaks for itself. I do believe there is one London scholarship that we will use though !

Some 5 star Elite awards in there too meaning some of our performances were 5 marks away from a perfect score !

Hygge will ALWAYS be my favourite group.

A few of our kiddos are Busy, Busy, Busy on set filming for National companies ! This term has just started and we are off to a flying start ….

Busy first Saturday back !

Full day of Saturday classes which totals, 9hrs with 21 classes back to back.

So many smiling faces today. Some nervous little ones but everyone left classes having had a great time. We can’t wait until next Saturday when we get to do it all again.

We never have time to take photos or video in class because our teachers are so focussed teaching and not making showreels lol. But we managed to get 2 from our Competition squad rehearsals tonight who came in from 6-7.30pm for extra practise.

Great work from everyone today.

Tomorrow is our day of rest before we do it all again on Monday.

Back to classes today means that we can hand out our exam certificates and awards from our June exam session !

This clever trio all got Honours and their marks were in the 90’s. Thats a testament to their hard work over the last term.

We can’t wait to hand out more this week and if we remember we will take more photos to celebrate our fabulous dancers ! ❤️

Well Done to all our pre-schoolers who have done amazing work this term. So many improvements not just in technique but in confidence, speech and everyone’s personalities are really shining through in classes. We ❤️ our pre schoolers.

To our pre-schoolers who are starting school after summer have a great time and we can’t wait to hear all about your first day ! We also can’t wait to continue your dance and gymnastics and theatre journey with you. We have 2 shows ahead in November to prepare for so keep practising everything over summer so we can put our dances and performances together when we return ⭐️

Good Luck to our dancers today at Fair City Dance Competition. We can’t wait to hear all about it when we see you tomorrow !

Our examiners table maybe tidied away for the next few months but it doesn’t stop our dancers working hard for the last week of term.

We had over 70 Ballet, Tap and Jazz exams on Thursday with the examiner leaving happy and she said she had a lovely day - so well done everyone. A nervous wait for results but we know all our dancers did their best and that’s what it’s all about - it’s not about getting the top marks all the time (that’s not real life btw!)

Our work doesn’t stop for our dancers as over the 6 weeks summer holidays we work on individual routines for any dancers who wish to compete. We have a lot of new kiddos wanting to try their hand at competitions for fun so we can’t wait to get their solo and duet routines up and running !

While we maybe heading to end of our year, the work is still going !

On Friday nights if we survive Samuel Downing Personal Trainer class we get an Ice Lolly !
