Introduction:

Hello guys, my name is Nick. I am tattooist and business owner here at 62 Tattoo.
I am a proud parent to two kids and fur baby Timber.
I have been tattooing for around 15 years, mostly in the UK.
I did a bunch of other work before I started tattooing. I have not started my tattoo carrier until my late 20s.
I started art and animation, and worked at graphic design companies and hospitality mostly.
I spend some time traveling around Asia before coming back home to Scotland to set up my shop.
WHY did I become a tattoo artist?
Short answer: because I am obsessed with tattooing then and now.
What I love about tattooing is that it keeps evolving, never stands still, always something new to learn and see.
I can’t think of any other jobs that artist can have that is more immediately rewarding and I am not just talking about it financially 😊 .
People in tattooing are everything, without people there is no tattooing.
It is collaborative endeavour between customer and artist .
My preferred style ? I have traditional values, strong lines, bold or fine, clear and dynamic design that reads clearly and ages gracefully. Black and grey or colour, modern or traditional, I don’t mind.
My ideal customer is creative and open minded to the process of collaboration.
