Trend Christmas Fayre!!!

Some progress pictures of a landscaping project at Hillview Community Church in Cults. A new courtyard with crossing paths is being installed using Marshalls’ granite eclipse paving and resin bound gravel. Natural borders filled with shrubs, perennials, and bulbs will soften the space and together transform the front of the church with a modern and slick design. Watch this space…

We recently had the pleasure of transforming a space for a client in Kintore, who envisioned a sleek, tidy, and low-maintenance landscape. Taking cues from them, we introduced the rich, earthy tones of Indian Sandstone, paired perfectly with the lush and evergreen artificial turf. Not only does it exude elegance, but it also promises minimal upkeep, allowing our client to relish in the beauty without the hassle 🌿➡️🪨

Yes we do granite walls too!

This is a porcelain paving job that has the look of real timber. Exterior porcelain paving is a great choice for the harsh conditions of wet and cold - as it isn’t permeable, the water cannot infiltrate the paver. It also requires less cleaning and other types of paving.

Our phone system is down at the moment. Despite numerous phone calls informing them that we hadn't requested to cancel our contract, BT have decided to cut us off anyway. This suntrap of a garden, is taking shape. Paths and seating areas laid. Posts in for lap fencing.

Not often we skip the Design Phase and head straight to construction. But for this client it was about using our experienced Contruction team and project management skills to give them the finished result they were looking for. Here are some clips from Week 2.

Weeds are Flowers too! Hidden behind a hedge, 270 feet up a windy hillside in Moray, Mandeigh Wells has created a pollinator’s paradise in a tiny garden which is just 72 foot from the back gate to the front hedge.

With the brief to bring new life into the front and back garden. We think we have ticked all the boxes with this project.

The Construction Team have created another masterpiece with the latest Bespoke Gate and Fence. Custom sized to fit a Car through, should the need arise. Design

5 jobs to get done in the garden this weekend:

Plant garlic in the ground before the end of February in individual cloves, pointed-end up, so that the tip is just covered in soil.

Cut autumn-fruiting raspberry canes to the ground to stimulate new canes to fruit in the autumn.

Remove last year’s dead growth from around strawberry plants as the new growth will already be apparent.

Firm back down any plant roots that have been heaved out of the ground by frost or winter winds.

Soil can be improved by spreading a 5cm layer of well-rotted manure or garden compost around beds and borders.

After last week's weather. The job is nearing completion with the Soft Landscaping areas the next areas to be worked on in the rear garden.

With the good weather holding for so long, we've managed to fit in this little gem.
Expanding a Patio, creating a new Path and room for a Greenhouse. Using Trent 10mm Gravel in Resin Bound.

Excavation completed and Hard-core added. Pad is ready for the patio and we've even replaced all the Manhole Covers. Let hope this weather holds up, so the good progress continues.
