📣 SPECTRA 2025 Commission 💡
We’re looking to commission an artist(s) to produce new work for SPECTRA Festival of Light 2025! The piece will be displayed in Aberdeen Art Gallery’s Sculpture Court for the duration of the festival before being accessioned into the city’s museum and gallery collection.
The commission will build on this year’s successful SPECTRA collaboration with artists Heinrich and Palmer, resulting in the large-scale projection ‘Winds of Change’, inspired by Aberdeen’s rich maritime past, present and future.

The Mobile Art School is an an innovative project that will focus primarily on widening access to creative education and careers for young people across the north-east of Scotland!
Launched in 2019, it offers free, high impact workshops, with state-of-the-art creative tools to schools.
