Tutu's Dance School

So at the end of what has been a wonderful year - how do we stop post Show blues ?! Simple - organise another Show - or even better two 😂😂

At Christmas we will be having a fun fundraising panto “ Panto Pandemonium “ at Oldmachar Church - where the Panto baddies go on strike and it’s up to Snow White and the seven dwarves to save the Show - there will be not just dancing but singing and acting opportunities too - auditions and more details at the end of the Summer !!!

Then next Summer we are back at the Aberdeen Arts Centre May 30th and 31st for an exciting all School Dance Show “Reach For Your Dreams “

So enjoy the Summer and come back ready to make 2024/25 even bigger and better 💖🩰💖🩰

What a lovely fun last week of term we have had 💖💖💖The littlest dancers have enjoyed being mermaids and chasing butterflies outside and the older girls have been playing fun games and working on fitness challenges !!!

Well done everyone on a great tech rehearsal last night - it was lovely to see all the excitement on everyone’s faces at being on stage - especially the teeny tiny ones who were living their best lives !!! And Amy the Birthday girl who didn’t want to go home 😂😂
Tonight’s dress rehearsal will run as the Show so please be there just after 6pm with all costumes so we can start at 6:30pm The first act should finish approximately 7:30pm and the second act approximately 9:15pm . Please be understanding if times are slightly wrong as this will be the first time we have actually run the Show through 💖🩰

From last year - this is the Children’s Theatre door at the top of King Street - hope it helps if anyone is lost 😂😂😂

Just a reminder that tomorrow is technical rehearsal so please check your e mail for times for each class and come into the theatre via the Children’s theatre door on Kings Street - no costumes will be needed just ballet and tap shoes - and a smile . As it s the first time we are in the theatre things may not go as smoothly as planned so please be understanding # # #
If anyone has ordered Show t shirts and still has to get them they will be in the theatre tomorrow to be collected

“Hi I’m Lucy and my little one used to dance in with Moira 🥲. I also run a balloon company in Bridge Of Don . Over the past few years I have designed balloons for the show to wish luck/congratulate the little ones and have done the same for this year. Even though my daughter isn’t in the show I know how passionate Moira is about keeping costs as low as possible to families so for every balloon purchased I will donate £2.00 to TuTu’s to either help with the cost of the show or to put towards the next. The balloons cost £9.50 each and are a lovely Dance Show souvenir 🩰 🎈

Our lovely uniform suppliers at Funky Panther have designed us a “Stages “ Show t shirt which is lovely and I’m sure the pupils ( and any adults who want one ) will love them - they are £10 (child size ) and £12 (adult size )and can be personalised with names on the back .
