A satisfying performance, if I say so myself. I'm referring to last Sunday (1st Jan) at The Horse and Jockey Stanford in the Vale. Thank you to the many people who turned up, especially to old friends who I haven't seen for ages. A delight to meet you again.
We play at Eight Bells, Bablock Hythe Rd, next Sunday.

We are grateful for the wonderful response from those at the Horse and Jockey Stanford in the Vale on Sat 15 Oct. Don't go far, we are playing again on Sat 26 November.
We also played Rose and Crown Highworth, I enjoyed seeing familiar faces, see photo.

As Cat N Fiddle have been around for many years, it's time to reminisce.
During October 1989 we toured the central American country of Belize, for charity.
Belize Airport, Thursday 12 October 1989:- This was the group at the time having just arrived in the country. From left to right, Gerry Morris, Joe White, Robbie Robinson (that’s me), Simon Beadle.
Belize City Civic Stadium, Friday 13 October 1989:- The stadium was for netball.
Belize jungle, Thursday 19 October 1989:- Waiting for a RAF Puma helicopter to fly us to Rideau, where ever that was.
Sep 2022 Cat 'n Fiddle
We have been enjoying some good times, thought you would like to join in. Our next performance is at the Rose and Crown in Highworth SN6 7DB on Sunday afternoon, 9th October. Also we will be playing at the Horse and Jockey, Stanford in the Vale SN7 8NN on Saturday evening, 15 October.

Hi, Robbie here, we are playing this weekend. Sat 24 July, 1pm at The Radfest 21 , Radcot nr Faringdon.
On Sat 31 July, in the afternoon we will be at Letcombe Regis football ground. Playing for charity.
Sat 7 Aug, 12:00 were' in the centre of Faringdon at the buskers event.
We are pleased to announce Cat N Fiddle are playing at The Red Lion, Drayton on Sun 20 Jun 2021 at 2:00 pm.
It will be in the back garden so I am sure the weather will hold off. Anyway it we be a wonderful afternoon to enjoy the day before midsummer. Please come along.

Saturday 11 April at The British Legion in Abingdon is cancelled. Not surprising really.
Hi Cat n Fiddle fans, The Brewery Tap on Sat 7 Mar was astounding. Thank you all for your response. This was a wonderful evening of hooting and singing all through the night.
And then on wards to The Tipsy Mercer just along the road from the Brewery Tap. This was a week later on Fri 13 Mar. So good to see people from the week before. Another astounding evening.
On Sun 15 Mar we played the Rose and Crown in Highworth. A successful afternoon gig. I liked this cause I got to bed early.

Sun 22 Dec went well. In fact it was excellent, thanks to Jo and Jake of the Wheatsheaf Drayton for laying it on. The usual high class performance from John on mandolin/banjo and Steve on fiddle. Also a big thank you to Rosie who joined in with her fiddle, she played good.....Our next scheduled appearance is Sat 7 Mar 2020 at the Brewery Tap Abingdon. I would like to do something before that, any one want to book us?. Thanks a lot Robbie
A good time was had at the Abingdon British Legion club last Sat 9 Nov. We enjoyed ourselves and so did the audience. The jigs and reels we play always work. We are at a loose end again, so if anyone wants to book us, give me a message. Lots a luv Robbie....
Our next appearance is British Legion, Abingdon on Sat 9 Nov, in the evening. This is a good chance to break out some remembrance songs like "Eric Boggles, Green Fields of France". Steve has also come up with some good tunes. We are putting a set together. Please come along.....
We played at the Banbury folk festival on Saturday, to be more precise we played at the Reindeer Inn on Parsons street. Nice warm atmosphere, a big thank you to all who turned up, especially whistle playing Kate from Kettering.
