It comes with a heavy heart to announce that due to health reasons, Breakaway Bike Maintenance Ltd will be closing the unit at Arch 3, Viaduct Road in Altrincham.

As some of you know, the unit has been closed more frequently recently. Each day that we have had to close has been disappointing but sadly necessary.

Since Breakaway began, giving the best service has always been paramount. However, it has become increasingly difficult for me to give the service that I would like, and that you all deserve.
As I'm sure you can all appreciate, heath comes first, and at this time, I've had to make the very difficult decision to close the unit at Arch 3.

Thank you to you all, all of the lovely customers, new and old, that have been patient and understanding, it is very much appreciated and a pleasure to work on your bikes!

Don't forget, we're working reduced hours throughout July, but normal hours will resume in August! - Thanks for your patience!

**We are closed this weekend 15th-16th July
Open 09:00-13:00 Monday 17th - Thursday 20th.
And then closed until 31st July 09:00-13:00**

!!! BE CAREFUL RIDING ALONG THE TRANS-PENNINE TRAIL!!!

I've just taken this out of a ladies' back tyre, straight through the tyre, inner tube and ripped the rim tape also!

Some horrible, malicious people planting these along the trail near Altrincham. Looks to be purpose made bent nail!

It could have been much worse than just a puncture, a crash, a pets paw, or a childs foot!
Thankfully, this lady was OK and came to .bikes to get fixed up.

Please be careful and share to make everyone aware!!
