Posted • What an incredible journey this has been (and still have another few weeks left)

Me and started together just before lockdown 2. We made a hella lot of progress before shoe found out she was expecting 🤰

We kept working together for the first 2 trimesters until she went into early labour and thankfully both Sophie and Baby were strong and healthy.

Fast forward a little bit of time then me and Sophie picked back up to ditch what was left of her pregnancy weight and celebrating with a final photoshoot.

In total:
⬆️Massively increased in strength
⬆️ Locked in a gym/steps/baby routine
⬇️ 14kg in weight
⬇️ 12.2cm off her waist
⬇️ 5.6cm off her arms
⬇️ 6.7cm off her legs

Honestly amazed by this journey. Just shows that if you work hard you get the results.

(Note when she wasn’t on maternity she works as a midwife on shifts)

Posted • Recent results from one of my clients.

Mr. A wanted to initially gain a little size and gain confidence in the gym.

We set out to add muscle on and gain knowledge on different movements that would aid towards his goals.

Once we started putting some visible muscle on, he wanted to start adding on even more size.

So we talked about a controlled bulk. Where we eventually added an extra 500 calories onto his current diet.

We did this slowly and appropriately.

Eventually after nearly 10/12 months we ended up with his current physique. Which he is very happy with.

My client here is only 4 weeks deep, but the results are already amazing 😵

Bearing in mind - he has never really done much exercise most his life, he likes to reguarly drink beer, and has never really tracked his food...... so when all of this has suddenly changed, results will come fast!

But its not about the time frame, it's about the method.

It's proof that if you consistently tick the boxes, results will follow. For some, quicker than others.

Hey I’m Emma! I’m so excited to be working at thegymgroup alongside my full time job as as a Product Developer.

After years in the industry and finding a passion for fitness, I have really learnt how important nutrition is and what balance really means. GYM REFRESH 🧼🧹

It’s that time of year again! We will be shutting for out next gym refresh on Wednesday 16th at 08:00 and reopening on Friday 18th at 06:00 (times to be finalised)

This gives our team and decorators the time needed to deep clean, make any necessary repairs and give a fresh coat of pain on our walls. Please bare with us during this time.

Creatine

The WHY, the WHEN, and HOW MUCH!

WHY?

As quite possibly the most researched supplement in the industry this is an easy one. So here’s just two of the many;
1. Supplementing with creatine provides additional ATP energy, which improves high-intensity exercise performance.
2. Creatine can stimulate several key biological processes that lead to increased muscle growth and size.

WHEN?

Ideally I’d recommend around your training window, either slight before or slightly after. But, I’d say most importantly just make sure you take your daily amount each and every day. As mentioned above, it’s so highly researched there’s really no reason for anyone to not take this supplement.

HOW MUCH PER DAY?

Easy, 5g’s. I’ve never seen a supplement company send the product without a scoop for this anyway. But I’m the off chance it doesn’t get added to your tub or you lose it, remember 5g’s per day is golden.

BONUS TIP!

If you can get your hands on and spend a little extra on MICRONISED CREATINE MONOHYDRATE (Creapure), do it. It’s the highest grade creatine you can get in the UK right now!
