**Competition Time**

Happy New Year, everyone.

To boost our social media presence (cos let's face it, it's been pretty quiet all around!), we are giving away two lots of meals for two persons (one for dining in and one to take away) as competition prizes.

Rules are simple: click on this link: https://bit.ly/mughalpalace and do the following:

a) you must follow at least two out of four of the social media channels
b) like, share, and tag someone in this post
c) fill in the survey (only if you've recently dined in at the restaurant or ordered from us) and leave your feedback on the other two channels (but they are optional)
d) and most importantly, you MUST sign up for our newsletter - this is a pre-requisite, as this will be a subscriber-only competition.

Two names will be drawn out in random order and announced in three weeks. The exact date and time will announced nearer the time, so make sure to sign up for the notifications.

As we grow our online community, we will be using these channels to keep you informed of our news, events, special offers, etc. (subscribers will always get a heads-up before the general public.

Folks, the news you have all been waiting for is finally here! Yes, we are now able to take your payments for all orders online! So the next time you want to place a delivery or collection order over the phone, and pay over the phone, please go straight to the website instead and order and pay for the order in one go. This will not only save you a lot of time and hassle but also free up our staff to focus on other things.

Wow, that is quite an achievement for a small high-street operation like ours!

We take great pride in the fact that this accolade is based purely on our customers' feedback. It is a great achievement, and I would like to take this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude to all our regulars, friends, and well-wishers who have supported us over the past few years - all whilst we have been facing an immensely challenging trading period. We may not have always got things 100% right,, but we have strived to better ourselves constantly with your support and regular feedback. This award is a testament to that.

Looking forward to seeing everyone attending the Amersham Heritage Day tomorrow! Be sure to pass by our restaurant for some tasty snacks and light bites to takeaway!

To the 'Doodle Man' going around writing disingenuous reviews on Google: you may have deleted the 'review' following our retort, but our position still stands: you are banned from the Mughal Palace. We will never tolerate any abuse or insult when it comes to our staff. period.

There is a power outage in Old Amersham. Apologies to everyone booked in this evening, but it looks like we will not be back up and running til after 11pm. We will try and keep you all appraised as and when we have an update.

After a lot of requests, we are finally ready with our BBQ packs! £45 for a pack, which will feed 3-4 people easily (king prawns, chicken shashlik, lamb tikka, and more). Vegetarian and vegan options are available from £7.95 per person as supplements.
