💚 Both myself & my client knew this was a colour correction process, & we had to get to the green before we could neutralise it

💚 The reason we see the green was due to purple pigment still left in the hair from last year!

💚 Hair can hold a number of tones not always visible to the eye but will feedback as the hair is lightened

💚 This is why a full consultation, with skin & hair tests are required before any technical appointments

💚 Red pigment was the tone to counteract the green - although not visible in the end result

Since I attended so much online education during the lockdowns. it was only right to start the New Year learning some new skills 🙌

I will be requiring some hair models to practice on, ideally with at least shoulder length hair. This will of course be at a discounted rate for a short while.
All hair models will need to attend the salon for an in-depth consultation & skin testing before their appointment.
Unfortunately due to demand, I am not able to offer this on Saturdays.

Firstly my apologies for not posting for a while, I’ve been taking a healthy break away from social media for the last few months. With so much negativity online, I find it beneficial to take a step back when it starts to feel overwhelming! Self care is important to us all ☺️

When you notice a hair loss, it’s very important first to make sure the cause isn’t internal, for that doing a blood test is extremely important to make sure your numbers are normal, then we can look at external hair loss causes.

What are the most important tests that should be done if hair loss is observed?

1- Hemoglobin Test
2- Vitamin B12 Test
3- Vitamin D Test
4- Thyroid Test
5- Iron and zinc Test

Some medication’s side effect is a hair loss, make sure you check your medications for that side effect.
