Busy one today Traditional Afternoon tea for 2 this morning then a Traditional for one, a Strawberry and Lemon for one and a Cheese one for one this Afternoon. Please note we will be stopping the Strawberry and Lenon teas at the end of this month until next Year so please book in quickly if you would like one 🩷

Who says you can’t have granola, Greek yogurt and fruit for lunchtime or Ice cream Sundaes for breakfast lol, that’s what some lovely ladies did today 😉

Excited for you to try our new 3 layer cake- Apple and Blackberry with a sprinkling of Cinnamon smells delish mmm

3 more delicious milkshakes added - Biscoff, Candy floss and Lemon , I think that makes 28 now 😋

Just a reminder guys we have a lovely top room that is totally private from the rest of the Tearooms This is available to use for Hen nights, Baby Showers, Christenings, Birthday parties, etc etc we also have a Men’s group that meet fortnightly and a ladies business networking group that meet monthly and a Women’s Institute group. If you would be interested in using this room for your event please get in touch. We also do young Children’s Birthday parties on our middle floor, this has a Children’s play area at one end. 🩷

What a fab day, was great to welcome some lovely ladies to the Tearooms for their first Ashby small vibes business networking group. They had the top room and the chatter and laughter coming from there was great. The middle floor was occupied by a bunch of hungry cyclists while the ground floor was also full of lots of lovely regulars and many first timers We even got a few brave enough to sit outside in the Afternoon. Thanks for keeping us so busy guys. We will definitely have to stock up on the Lemon and Lime and Orange and Lemon cake , they flew out . See you Thursday 🩷

Lovely Weather for alfresco eating today even managed another Cheese Afternoon tea outside. Ice cream Sundaes were a firm favourite today along with the ever popular milkshakes. Why not try our new Biscoff one with crushed biscuits inside, topped with cream and syrup and biscuit on top mmm. See you tomorrow guys x

Wow guys that was a very hot and busy day. Too many milkshakes and Ice cream Sundaes to count. The Malteaser and Orange Cake also were a hit. More Strawberry and Lemon Afternoon Teas booked for tomorrow and a far few tables already reserved so should be another busy one x

Phew what a busy day that was 🥱lovely to see so many new customers alongside our faithful regulars. Lost count of the amount of breakfasts we did and nearly ran out of 2 rainbow cakes. I don’t know how we managed to fit 4 Afternoon teas in too but we did lol. Have a good weekend guys See you Monday 🌈

Wow what a lovely day we’ve had, Sun was shining and ice cream Sundaes and freakshakes were definitely the favourite drink of the day closely followed by iced lattes and iced chocolates. Afternoon teas were had out in the Courtyard and it was so lovely to see so many new customers that said they’d definitely be back and of course our lovely regulars . Thanks guys xx

Wow you’ve sure kept us busy this week guys , lovely to finally enjoy some Sunshine and be able to have full tables outside. Another busy one beckons tomorrow with the Men’s ABC group meeting in the top room at 9am( feel free to join them guys) then lots of Adult and Children’s Afternoon teas later on. Sunday we have yet another Baby Shower ♥️

Hi guys We are back open on Monday 22nd July. While I’ve been away Andy has been busy, cleaning and sanding down outdoor furniture, cleaning out the inside of the lift space and cleaning all the highest upstairs windows so he’s kept busy. We will have lots of yummy drinks and snacks ready for you to enjoy so come and see us. Until then enjoy the Subshine peeps . I’m making the most of it☀️

It’s been abit of everything kinda day today . Lots out having breakfast in the Courtyard this morning before the drizzle started , unfortunately an Afternoon that was booked for outside was brought in, just a bit too wet and chilly. Still throughly enjoyed though.July 1st!!! You really are taking the mick 🌨️

Well we did it guys 5k muddy run in the bag . What an amazing day it was. Thank you so so much to all of you that donated . That one was for you Dad 💙

Just a reminder guys we are closed this Saturday 29th July . As a family we are running the muddy Race for Life in Derby. This is in remembrance of my dear Dad who sadly passed away last month due to Lung and Brain Cancer😢. Thank you so so much to all who have donated and those who have been so supportive. We’ve managed to raise over £1,000 that will go towards research into this devastating disease. All we’ve got to do is run it now 😧. Wish us luck we’ll need it 🏃🏻‍♀️‍➡️x
