Great turnout today for the Club Ride

Great ride with the Mersham CC Super Social group this morning. All sporting our new club socks! 😁😁🤩

MCC Everest Challenge 29031 ft 🏔🏔🚵‍♀️

A whopping 45000’ft climbed by the MCC on Saturday 10th October raising funds in support of the Ashford Hospice. The target of £1000 was passed easily through the donations by club members and many other carding folk. Although the target of 29600 ft was reached after 103 assent’s, 150 successful assents of the mighty Stowting Hill 😁 was achieved by the 13 riders in the pic below as well as the early bird quartet of Petet, Laurence Stock, Shaun Baker and Gavin Murphy who set the foundation before being joined by the cavalry below. Nice one lads and thanks to all who support this great cause!! 👏👏🙏🙏🥂

In support of our very own Pilgrims Hospice a group of Club Members lead by Doug Rood and Peter Walkden will attempt to climb Stowting Hill 122 times (the same hight as Mt Everest) to raise a targeted £1000 in the process. Ride date 8th October 2022.

Thanks to The Dog House Micropub and Vinyl Bar in Evegate for hosting a great Mersham Cycling Club social get together. Great to see such a good turn out and to see so many members and their family’s again!! Great food, music and as always the fantastic craft beers🍷🍟🍺🍻
