Our After-School Wellbeing Club is a mix of activities, games, fitness and positive vibes. It’s the perfect way for children to boost their mental and physical health!
The wellbeing programme currently runs in 2 schools and I’m looking to expand further, with the aim of improving and promoting fitness and wellbeing among children and its many benefits.

The class will be Bootcamp/ HITT (High Intensity Interval Training) style and is a great way to help improve strength and cardio.
The early morning class is a fantastic way to start the day and you will definitely benefit from this, as it will make you feel motivated, energised and most of all feeling great within yourself.

With one multiple world champion already signed up, if you want to take on a legend of the sport then get signed up. Our team competitions always have a great atmosphere and great fun. This year it’s mixed teams, one strongman and one strongwoman to make up your team.
Weight for amature categories much lighter but below are the pro weights. We haven’t gone crazy on the weights as we don’t want pros to mess up their season on a mega heavy event haha!
Events are…
Alternate log for reps in 90s (70kg/120kg)
Combined axle deadlift for reps in 60s (160kg/260kg)
Sandbag steeplechase (3 hurdles, one sandbag each athlete) (80kg/130kg)
Duck walk in to powerstairs. 10m with 3 steps each athlete. (110kg/200kg)
Stone to shoulder/ farmers hold. As many stone to shoulder reps as possible while your partner holds farmers. Your choice who does what. Women 85kg per hand or do the 80kg stone. Men 125kg per hand or do the 130kg stone.
In the event of a tie with another team it’s what ever team did the longest farmers hold so sort of a double event!

I’ve known Ellis for a number of years now and his passion for fitness, physiotherapy and sports therapy is infectious. He loves what he does and you can’t help but get involved when talking all things gym and recovery.

He has been the number one guy since about 4 months post ACL & meniscus surgery, after a number of other physios let me down, I let Ellis have a crack at getting me back. 12 months later I’m 3 weeks out from competing at Englands strongest man.

I am excited to announce the launch of our MOVE TO IMPROVE class at WhitelawWellbeing and also NeuroRehabServices. .rehabservices
Myself and my business partner Hayley, launched this on Monday this week, with 2 classes taking place in which both were fully occupied.
The classes are designed at helping participants stay active, more mobile and maintain their independence. The classes incorporate a range of exercises and stretches that help to target mobility,balance,stability and also strength of the muscles and joints.
The exercise group targets more of the senior citizens and we believe those with balance, mobility and neurological issues would greatly benefit from this class.
They will take place Every Monday morning 9:30-10:30 and 11-12 with the hope that more classes will be put on in the near future.
** It is £10 per person and carers go FREE!! **

I am delighted to announce the official launch of the Wellbeing club! 😁
The well-being club will promote a healthy, active lifestyle amongst students and also teachers and it will be applicable to BOTH primary and secondary schools. It will re enforce the benefits of being healthier and more active, which will enable both students and teachers to use this to change their habits to a more healthier one. Not only will it provide physical benefits to those that join, I also believe it will help those deal with the pressures of school life.
Furthermore, the club will consist of a mixture of fitness based training that will be tailored for the appropriate age group and also a variety of sporting activities.
So far the club has already been accepted into 2 local primary schools! 📚✅

I’m happy to announce that WhitelawWellbeing will now be running a stretch and recover class at .l.fitness, every other Thursday at 7pm for around 40-45mins.
The session will primarily focus on enhancing mobility of the joints and also improving flexibility/extensibility of the body’s muscles, which will help to reduce the risk of injury. Each week will differ but the main focus will stay the same.
I am really looking forward to getting started. First one is this Thursday !

This time last week - 14/7/23 ….
So last Friday capped off a round of amazing school visits, finishing at George Elliot academy.
My main aims were to inspire the students to become more active and healthy and also give the students an insight as to what my job entails.
Throughout all of the visits, I started off by taking the students through a short presentation about me, my job and what my journey was like. Then the second part was based on getting the students on their feet and active through a short and fun fitness circuit.
I have really enjoyed these school visits helping students and I hope I have inspired many into the same line of work and also to lead a healthier lifestyle.
And again the main message to the students
