So today l said a very sad farewell to my unit, workplace and as my wife often tells me my second home.
I have had an amazing 15 years there and can’t quite get to grips that it’s all over now, thanks to a greedy Landlord.

I’d like to thank all the amazing customers that have trusted me with their rides over the past years,it’s been an honour.

I’d also like to thank those that have helped me over the past 8 weeks complete the building works required by the Landlords, not that it needed doing but hey.
My son (Ashley) and my brother in law (Rasher) have been truly amazing, cheers a lot guys.

I haven’t as yet been able to secure another unit but will see what the next few weeks have in store now l can fully concentrate on searching for one.

Hopefully there is a future for Vivid Element?

So for now take care everyone and hope to see you in chapter 2.

It is with a heavy heart that l have to announce that Vivid Element Detailing is now closed for business until at least May 2024.

Reason:
My landlord’s have decided to increase my rent by £12k per year and l just cannot absorb this cost.
Although l tried they are unwilling to negotiate so unfortunately my hand has been forced.
I now have to spend the next couple of months converting the unit which l have occupied since 2009 back to original specifications.
I’m totally broken having to make this decision but all l can say is,

“I’ll be back”

Bit of a long one this, sorry.

Well what a Monday it’s been.
After breaking his leg playing football 7 weeks ago, today was the crucial assessment day at hospital.
Amazingly the injury is doing much better than the surgeon had expected so we were all mega happy.
Went back to the car only to find someone had spanked it while we were inside.
Couldn’t believe it, not my car🤦‍♂️
The owner return to his car and was greeted by my very unhappy self.
Excuse me but you have hit my car dude😡
I’m very sorry he said,never trusting the bloody sensors again was the reply l received🥴
Well l’ll get some quotes and forward them to you ok?
Okay no problem the driver replied.
Then to make things even worse he tells me he was only at the hospital to pick up his dad after dialysis and that it was his dads car not his.
Wow, that’s tough l said😩
Flip me talk about turning the tables, made me feel so guilty.
Came back to Vivid,spent 2 hours wet flatting and machine polishing the damaged area and hey presto all good.
Rang the driver and said, let’s just forget all about it and wished him and his dad all the best.
So my day was all about being up, down, feeling guilty and then feeling chuffed.
