If you spot a problem on the road network in Buckinghamshire, when it is safe to do so, please report it on FixMyStreet. Whether it’s an issue with the road surface, a drain that is flooding or a broken street light, we want to know! We will assess it and schedule any remedial work required. It won’t be fixed overnight (unless it’s deemed an immediate safety issue) but we will action the repair as soon as possible: https://orlo.uk/gql15

⚠️We are aware of concerns regarding the impact of Thames Water's emergency works on the Kop Hill Climb this weekend.
Our Streetworks team have been working closely with Thames Water, who carried out the emergency pipe repair last night and are undertaking the permanent reinstatement of it today, to allow the removal of the traffic management currently in place.
Thames Water will also be arranging for a road sweeper to attend the site before the weekend.
We know getting stuck in traffic congestion caused by roadworks is frustrating. We try to minimise the impact where we can, but we are managing a far greater number of requests for roadworks, with utilities fixing and improving their networks and broadband firms installing new high-speed cables for businesses and residents.
So that you can change your route or allow more time for your journey, please use https://orlo.uk/uADN4 to check what’s happening on the roads before you travel: https://orlo.uk/82cLw
There will be a full weekend closure of the A404 Handy Cross roundabout at Junction 4 of the M40 near High Wycombe, to address the deteriorating condition of the roundabout surfacing.
The closure will start at 9pm on Friday 13 September and the roundabout and its entry and exit slip roads will remain closed until 6am on Monday 16 September.
This weekend closure will then be followed by a series of weeknight closures of the same stretch on 16, 17, 18 and 19 September. Again, all entry and exit slip roads onto the M40 will be closed during these night time closures.
For details of diversions, please visit the National Highways website: https://nationalhighways.co.uk/our-roads/south-east/south-east-maintenance-schemes/
REMINDER: A4010 Risborough Road, Aylesbury, is currently subject to a 24-hour road closure for water main diversion works, routine inspections and maintenance of the temporary bridge. These works are being undertaken by HS2 under powers granted in the HS2 Act. As a result, congestion is likely on roads in the surrounding area. The A4010 is due to re-open on Monday 16 September. Fed up with sitting in traffic jams caused by temporary traffic lights and getting caught up in diversions due to road closures? For utility companies to be able to upgrade their pipework, broadband providers to install new cabling and for us to repair the potholes and improve connectivity, we have to use these measures to keep everyone safe while this work is undertaken.
We urge every user of the road network in Buckinghamshire to check their journey before they travel on One Network: https://orlo.uk/Ts7sd so that you can be prepared, set off earlier or take an alternative route, if necessary.

At the Five Points Roundabout in Iver, the Wood Lane closure, diversion route and traffic lights have been temporarily removed. Instead, so we can complete repairs to drainage on the west of Wood Lane northbound, multi-way traffic lights are currently operating 24/7.
Next we will work on the roundabout itself and its Wood Lane and Uxbridge Road ‘arms’, including reinstating the road closure, with traffic lights on the Bangors Road South diversion again for a short period. We will confirm the date that this will happen ahead of time and inform local residents and businesses.
