So we had a conundrum! We had to build a Manufacturing jig to hold sunglasses whilst they were being UV printed on.
We designed the Prototype in house, made of acrylic, which was a great option, a little bulky but a fantastic jig. At the end of the day I just wasn't happy to provide it as a solution. It was also quite expensive.
Luckily I have a supplier on hand who was able to 3D design a jig that holds sunglasses perfectly, very stable, perfect for UV printing jigs.
I'm very happy with what we've done so far and can't wait to show the client!

Specializing in handmade reclaimed timber furniture since 2018. Simon crafts our timber furniture, along with managing the creative side of the business, while Maria enjoys handling customer interactions, spreading our brand and finalising accounts.
Our prerequisite for planet-friendly, gorgeous products means that the quality of our reclaimed timber is of great importance to us. We individually select each section with a great deal of care to ensure the material will perform well for a long period of time. Doing this we can be sure the finished result will deliver a beautifully revived, natural piece of solid furniture with oodles of character.
We continually invest in our equipment, bringing efficiencies to processes and techniques, helping us save time during the production stage. This efficiency gain ensures we bring you very competitive prices whilst retaining the feel of traditional hand-made goods.
