At Slenderpane, we have a glass toughening solution for heritage panes that need toughening but are too small for most toughening plants, all this can be done in our own workshop in Haddenham.

Our expertise in the manufacturing of small slim heritage units and the introduction of a small toughening plant has allowed us to now process toughened glass efficiently with sizes down as small as 100×100mm.

Slenderpane are proud to support the Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity. This year they are bringing back their Midnight Walk in Aylesbury, last held in 2022! This year it will be a Midnight Walk Weekend taking place on Saturday 22nd & Sunday 23rd June.

It was designed to be an opportunity to remember and celebrate loved ones while also showing support and thanks for the work of the Hospice.

This year’s event has grown considerably, with two sister events also featuring across the weekend, each being specifically made to meet the needs and requirements of any group or participant wishing to take part and raise vital funds for the Hospice.

Slenderpane slim double glazed units can achieve a range of u values to suit the nature of the project. Sightlines of our warm edge spacers do not affect the thermal value and these are 6mm Heritage, 7mm, 8mm, 9mm and 11mm.

At Slenderpane we have never been concerned about fair competition, relying on our service and quality of units.

However it has become apparent that there are a number of rogue traders manufacturing low sightline DGUS. They have been exposed as committing the following scams and are still trading. Some are well know in this industry. They are often identified by quoting suspiciously low prices.

The Reasons To Use Slenderpane

1. Slenderpane have full accreditation to manufacture low sightline units so you can rest assured that your products will comply.
2. Warranties will be honoured.
3. We will always advise on ‘U’ values. They are specified on every quote and DGUS will always have the correct gas and amount of fill.
4. We will provide enough administration staff to deal with any queries or issues that you may have. You can always speak to a person during working hours.
5. It is difficult to attain accreditation for low sightlines DGUS. A higher skill level and stricter controls are required than for standard DGUS. We employ additional supervising and quality control staff to accommodate this.
