A recently completed job for floor to ceiling fitted cupboards in Wendover, Buckinghamshire. My customer was looking for storage and a space to work from home - we opted for fixed and adjustable shelving to make the most out of the space along with a pull out desk which can be closed behind the doors when not in use.

Shaker style floor to ceiling doors with antique copper handles which compliments the colour very well - Farrow & Ball in “Hague Blue”.

Managed to pop back to Kingston Blount, Oxfordshire to take a few photos of the finished bedroom wardrobes.

4 shaker door wardrobes under construction. Traditional 5 piece shaker door construction with white MFC internal cabinets.

I love the bespoke bronzed colour of this door furniture I fitted recently. Customer had these sent away especially and they really set the door off.

Another kitchenette fitted in central London. Spray painted in Farrow & Ball Red Earth. Worktop in Carrara marble.

I think that these heavy metal k***s selected by my lovely customer from look great against the recently installed alcove cupboards. We fitted these in an impressive Edwardian home situated in Wendover, Buckinghamshire. Shaker doors finished in Farrow & Ball Elephants breath.

Like everyone else I’m quite busy in the workshop so decided to have Cutlist manufacture these 3 panel shaker doors for me. Got to say I’m pleased with the end result & love the maple edge banding.

Books in now & some interesting titles. T.V yet to be mounted. Love the dual action of the Hafele duo allowing the doors to hinge down to 90 or push up and stay at 90.

Just wrapping up this bookshelf/media unit in Ludgershall, Buckinghamshire. Bookshelves either side framed in American white oak. Push to open doors made from Mr mdf. Middle storage area made from a hinged walnut worktop & from Ironmongery sourced from . Colour matched to Farrow & Ball Slipper satin with a 15% sheen.

Random shelving can really add some interest to a small alcove. Fitted this job locally a while back where the customer wanted to angle a t.v. into the room without covering the sockets. Talking of sockets, count how many are in the alcove base unit!

I love doing alcove cupboards but I’m always paranoid about the shelves flexing underload. Believe it or not & I know it’s overkill but I often sandwich a length of hollow, square section steel across the front, end to end. You never know!

The job I’m currently working on involves 300 mm shelves. I wanted to add a tiny bit more strength to the 25 mm hidrofugo mdf so I milled up some American white oak nosings. They will also help to protect the shelf edge. Shelf sprayed with Renner water based paint matching Farrow & Ball “Slipper Satin”. First time using this Storm fast drying glue which I find brilliant from

Completed a run of 3 panel shaker door wardrobes in Chearsley, Buckinghamshire. I colour matched Little Greene’s “Welcome “ in a low lustre finish using Renner Aquaris water based lacquer. I added lighting just below the hat shelf with LED’s running vertically to illuminate the chunky shelving . The room was quite small but I managed to fit everything in. MDF doors made from hidrofugo. Lending a hand to my colleague in the workshop Paul A Clarke. Paul is a highly regarded staircase maker based in Thame, Oxfordshire & today he’s running out a lovely bespoke American white oak handrail on the spindle moulder.
