Sea freight container spots have risen sharply, and this could be due to an earlier than usual peak season demand.

The explanation could be shippers used 2023 to bring down inventory levels from the pandemic highs and are now fearing uncertainty that the geopolitical climate could disrupt supply chains - the Red Sea situation is still putting pressure on shipping capacity, restrictions are ongoing in the Panama Canal and the US have announced new tariffs on imports from China.

Demand reached record levels in Q1 2024, up by 9.2% compared to Q1 2023. Shippers are building up inventories now rather than risk goods arriving too late later in the year.

Today is the big day, this afternoon is our formal King’s Award presentation ceremony. The Trophy and Grant of Appointment will be presented by the Lord-Lieutenant of Kent, The Lady Colgrain, as HM the King’s representative.

It was an amazing opportunity to have the partners and sponsors of the art trail in our warehouse viewing all the sculptures for the first time! We look forward to seeing the sculptures when the trail goes live on the 29th June.

Celebrating Guide Dog Day with style! Canary Wharf just got a whole lot brighter with the arrival of these stunning decorated guide dog sculptures🐾

TPS Global Logistics delivered 17 decorated guide dog sculptures for the “Paws On The Wharf” art trail. The trail is in place to raise awareness and raise vital funds to help people with sight loss to live more active and independent lives. Let's celebrate these incredible animals who light up the lives of those they serve!🐕

We are proud to announce Managing Director Matt Smith has been appointed a Department for Business & Trade Export Champion for the sixth year running. This appointment is in recognition of his export expertise and successful international trade record as a business leader.

Matt’s role is to share his knowledge and advise other businesses on international trade. He will be participating in round table discussions, DBT consultations and focus groups, taking part in trade missions and hosting Ministers and senior officials. Tim was hugely influential when the business was formed and his encouragement, experience and knowledge of the industry was fundamental in building the foundations of our company.
