Andi joined us for our summer challenge
With a similar goal to most gals, tone her body and feel strong, fit and confident

Andi struggled previously to get the results she wanted due to feeling super restricted or not gaining the knowledge she needed to get to where she wanted to be
With our flexible, sustainable and fun approach to coaching, Andi made being consistent with her training, movement and nutrition around her long shifts look easy😮💨
While understanding what she was doing and why
And Andi’s determination and discipline to smash whatever she does
Her body, strength and fitness has completely changed😍
Imagine going on holiday, wearing what you want or standing in front of camera feeling class😉

July was defos a month meant to test me😂
I had my biggest challenge to date at the end of July and I really needed it
Had to put myself in the pain cave😮💨
After an all inclusive holiday, having a break in football seasons and having COVID
I needed something that hurt mentally and physically to build some belief in me again
That’ll sound so strange - being in pain was a good thing🤔😂
But yes, choosing to put myself in it changes me as a person like nothing else
Physically I haven’t been pushed like that since Hyrox in March
And I guess I needed to prove to myself again that I can and am capable of doing those hard and challenging things
As well as inspiring my girls to what’s possible🥹
Putting myself through those hard challenges though make the hard things in life easier🤷🏼♀️
We’re always going to get them so you may as well have a mindset and belief that you know will get you through it
Whatever you choose to do will be hard
Staying the same can be equally as hard as changing
So you may as well choose the hard that actually gets you a result off the back of it🤷🏼♀️
It’s insane the belief you can build in yourself but choosing hard
Whether it’s going to the gym for the first time alone, picking the healthier food option or climbing 3 peaks on a set of stairs
You prove something to yourself each time you make that decision or do that thing🙌🏼
Staying where you are might seem like the easy option but what it’s stopping you from doing is incredibly hard
Do more things that’ll test you or seem difficult, put yourself in the pain cave more often to essentially make your life far easier🤷🏼♀️
Highly recommend being in that pain cave more often😉😂

A lot of the conversations I have with girls when it comes to reaching their goals or being on a fitness journey
Involves scale weight
And a lot of times, their perception of success or winning comes down to if that’s moved or not🤷🏼♀️
As we all know though, the scales can be temperamental wee buggers😂
So here’s a few ways our gals our winning… that have f all to do with their weight
Which I think is a hell of lot more important🙌🏼
Developing their relationship with food
Moving into their own house
Enjoying food for the first time
Getting PBs weekly
Starting running
Starting new jobs, getting promotions
Wearing the clothes they’ve always wanted to wear
Taking pictures in those clothes and posting them
Leaving jobs/environments that made them miserable
Asking for help
Putting themselves first
Feeling confident on holiday
Training for a big event (Kiltwalk)
Actually fully enjoying their holiday
Starting their own business
Not feeling sore doing everyday things
Making choices that make them feel good rather than ‘what fits’
Tripling their daily steps they first started out doing
Trying new foods
Speaking highly of themselves
Trying new ways to workout
Going on solo dates with themselves
Training for a half marathon
Completing their first solo workout
Throwing out old clothes that aren’t who they want to be anymore
Taking flexed pictures and showing off their physiques that they like now
Getting faster and fitter in their runs/conditioning workouts
Buying new sizes in clothes
Training on holiday for the first time
Feeling like themselves again
Finally overcoming struggles that they’ve always faced and achieving things that they once thought was impossible😍
I believe these are a hell of lot more important
And when you stop focusing on solely what a number says
And start looking at all the ways you are moving forward or what you are overcoming
The process becomes a lot more enjoyable and you start to really believe you can get to where you want to be feeling how you want to feel🥰

Just a few Friday reminders for ya🔥
💃🏼 Nothing changes if nothing changes
Wishing or hoping for something to happen without action is just wasted energy🤷🏼♀️
🙌🏼 Your mind will give up before your body does so when it gets to the point where it tells you to stop
Push a lil bit further💪🏻
🚶🏼♀️ Movement is so fricking underrated - if you’re struggling to see results
Get a whole load more movement in
😍 The time will never be right ever, there will always be an excuse that can be used
It just depends whether changing is more appealing than staying the same🤷🏼♀️
Off the back of that, your brain with perceive change as a threat and will try to keep you in your wee cosy zone - don’t let it win🙌🏼
Finally, you are soooo much more capable than you give yourself credit for

Challenge right enough - number 4 here we go😮💨
This has been the toughest and I’ve not even done it yet
Set the date
Had a 10 day all inclusive holiday
Got Covid off the back of my holiday
Couldn’t breathe for about 5 days and coughed for about 2 weeks
Been seeing the chiropractor for my dodgy hips
And this week just been low as hell in energy feeling weak AF physically
Trying to train 11 times a week (including football) wasn’t the most ideal when ill AF btw😂
But I’ve managed everything I could and adjusted my expectations to how I’d feel on the day and after
Not everything will be plain sailing or 100% optimal all the time
You can’t always control what happens to you
You CAN always always control how you react/respond though
It doesn’t need to be 0 or 100, there’s a whole load of progress that can be made inbetween🤷🏼♀️
I know I’m not going into this challenge 100% fit or prepared
But I’m 100% confident that I’ll get it done and finish it💪🏻
No giving up allowed over here😂
2 days until I take on the 3 peaks on a set of stairs for the best lil man and cause🥰

It’s insane the changes Alex has made to her lifestyle, body and mindset
One of her goals has always been to feel confident and look strong in her body
And Alex can finally say she’s completed it mate from all the work she’s done physically and mentally on herself🥹💪🏻
So fricking proud of this gal for continually showing up for herself, choosing ‘hard’ when it could’ve been easy to pick the opposite and for always pushing herself to be and feel her best😍

I’ve had the conversation so many times
And it used to be me having that same chat
“I just felt miserable on my holiday”
“I barely took pics when I was away and if I did it was selfies of just my face”
“I want to go away and not care how I look”
“I don’t want to feel how I did last time I was away”
When you pay so much to go away and have time off work
You wanna feel pretty good🙌🏼
Your experiences will only ever be as good the relationship you have with yourself though
Another holiday isn’t the thing that will make you happy
Especially if you’re hating yourself every day of it
It’s doing the work on yourself that will
And the quality of those experiences will improve😍
Of course, invest in the holidays, the trips and once in a lifetime experiences
But you only get one body and so many years to appreciate it
So appreciate it first, invest in yourself and watch all the experiences you have in life be enjoyed to their fullest🥹
Holidays are meant to be incredible so do the work you need to do on you
To proper embrace every moment feeling the way you deserve to🥰❤️

It’s crazy how attached we can become to the scales
I based my progress and in some ways my happiness in my body on them for a while
Buzzing if the scales went down
Miserable if they didn’t
Feeling like I’d failed if they went up even by a pound
It’s literally a number based on our relationship with gravity at that time
And it can cause us to question everything at times🤔
We’re not working hard enough, we need to starve ourselves, we need to punish ourselves at the gym, we’re too fat, we’re not good enough…
The scales are ONE metric of progress and depending on your goal, over a period of time you should see changes
BUT they don’t tell the whole picture
If you solely focus on the scales to tell you if you’re doing well or not
You’ll miss out on celebrating soooo many wins and soooo much progress you’ve made
Scales wise I weigh the same in both these pics😱
Mentally, physically and emotionally I couldn’t look or feel any different😍

If I focused my progress solely on the scales, I’d technically be in the position
But the Chlo on the right has achieved, overcome and smashed so much that they couldn’t be any further apart💃🏼
Remember the scales are 1 metric and your progress is so much bigger than 1 number🙌🏼
I’m always ‘failing’🤷🏼♀️
Or so social media would lead me to believe🌚
I have never been good at failing, I never really have
At school and uni I did really well, was a massive overachiever
Really I was just good at memorising things😂
But I put sooooo much pressure on myself to do well and get really good results
My parents were always like “just do your best” and I was like “I NEED TO GET AN A”
It was only until social media became a huge part of my life and business that the wee thought of “I’m failing” had creeped in
It makes me think I am everyday
If I don’t have abs and defined AF legs
If I’m not running marathons every week
If I’m not running an online business that makes over 10k a month
If I’m not getting up at 5am every morning and do a day worth of stuff before I start work
Even sometimes if I’m not engaged even though I’ve been with my GF for 4 years
We can get caught in a cycle of thinking we’re not moving fast enough or we’re not doing good enough🤷🏼♀️
Sometimes my girls inside Complete will hesistate to post their 5k time in the group as it’s not fast enough or feel like losing 1 pound in a week is a failure cause it’s not 4
If we always compare to other people, someone else’s progress, what others are doing in life - we will always think we’re failing🥺
What matters is what’s important to you
What making progress looks like to you
Living your life in line with who you want to be
Tbh everybody’s winging this lil game of life
So start celebrating what you deem to be wins, enjoying the things you like in life and working towards feeling how you actually want to feel
You don’t need to be anywhere apart from where you are and that’s absolutely not a failure🤷🏼♀️

Chloe was one of our Challenge winners💪🏻
This challenge was set out to get our gals feeling their best physically for summer but with intention to cement in incredible habits throughout
Chloe has MORE than achieved that🙌🏼
Not only did she hit her goal weight but went on her friends hen feeling AMAZING - can we appreciate how fab she looks in the last pic💃🏼
When Chloe started with Complete, she didn’t feel comfortable in her body, her clothes and it had an impact on her living her life
Worrying about what to wear when going out
Covering up with baggy clothes instead of wearing what she really wanted
Even training in a gym made Chloe uneasy
Fast forward 2 months and she’s now moving her body everyday, training consistently each week and has a much better relationship with food😍
Just by implementing small habits she’s feeling not only comfortable but CONFIDENT in her physique, wearing the clothes she actually wants to and training in a gym solo now🔥
Chloe had tried ‘diets’ previously but they never stuck, it was change a little then go back old habits (the viscious cycle)
But this time we’ve made the things that make long lasting changes easy to implement into her lifestyle, enjoyable and not feel like she’s actually ‘dieting’🤷🏼♀️
Proud of the changes you’ve made gal and buzzing to see this new confidence grow😍

🔥 You don’t just have energy, you have to create it - I heard walks outside, exercise, good sleep, good people being around you are pretty good at doing that😉

I’m the worst patient ever
I struggle with doing nothing
I feel guilty for it
If I’m not chatting to my clients, doing something for Complete or focusing on my own goals
It’s gotta be a pretty good reason
Spending a couple days resting to get better isn’t that pretty good in my eyes😂
I was planning to go do a double session in the gym on Monday and my coach was like “what would you say to your clients”
Always gets me to think rationally🌚
My body needed rest, not more stress put on it
And today I feel a million times better for letting it do that - for taking time off the gym and work🥹
It got me thinking though
How often do we end up HAVING to do something because we weren’t proactive in our approach beforehand🤷🏼♀️
Needing the whole weekend to chill and catch up on sleep because we overworked throughout the week
Took longer to recover from illness or injury because we didn’t rest like we should’ve
Forced to go to the gym or treat our bodies right because we didn’t prioritise our health the way we should’ve
Needing our 1 weeks holiday so badly because we burned ourselves out before going
How many times have you been forced to stop, forced to change something because it’s got to the point you HAD to🤷🏼♀️
I know it’s an extreme way to think of it but I see/hear of it so often
Instead let’s prioritise the things we need most in our lives daily/weekly
Take care of our bodies and minds proactively
Rather than it get to a point where there’s no choice🙌🏼
Whether it’s self care, better sleep, less stress, more movement, more exercise, prioritising you, rest - give your body what it needs before it really fricking needs it🤷🏼♀️
Ps not being in the gym, training or moving my body for a few days really made me appreciate that I’m able and can do those things - the buzz to get back to normal is real💃🏼😂
I didn’t want to go out…

Pulled on my lil green dress and felt class
Absolutely buzzing to go out and get pictures taken💃🏼
Less than 24 hours later
Pulled on this colourful number
And wanted to take it off as soon as it was on😭
The difference in my smiles too😬
The old Chlo started talking to me
“You look so fat in this”
We went out for the night and the first 2 hours were dampened with my attitude
“I’m so fkn chubby” as I kept pulling at my stomach , pulling the dress down my legs, folding my arms over myself
And sitting with a face like fizz (Kimmy will agree🌚)
No matter how many times she said how amazing I looked, I didn’t believe it
“No I don’t, stop lying”
After a few drinks and starting to feel tipsy, I ended up not giving a f**k what I looked like
But how I felt really affected my night and therefore Kimmy’s night🤷🏼♀️
Anytime her arm came round me, I’d be like “don’t touch my fat”
It’s crazy because 9 times out of 10, I love my body
The night before I felt incredible
But after having such a big transformation physically
The old Chlo can still have a hold on me
Making me feel like I’m the size and physique I used to be
When I was unhappy, hated how I looked and getting full length pics
And would never have ever wore anything like above🙅🏼♀️
I’ll always have that girl inside me
She wins at times
When I don’t post the pic because you can see my ‘chubby bits’ or pick up the size that’s 3 sizes bigger than I am
I’ll continually work at quieting her
But I need to always remember
I’m the Chlo I am now not 4 years ago
My body is testament to everything I do and should be appreciated
I’m not gonna feel incredible everyday
My body is going to change (especially as a woman) and feel different from time to time but being horrible to myself won’t change anything🤷🏼♀️
I can only treat my body kindly, give it what it needs and think like the person I am now🥰
Looking back at the pics now, my current Chlo is like, “hells yessss gal, what a vibe”😂

✌🏻 A couple days of fab routine, moving your body, exercising can completely change how you feel💃🏼
✌🏻 If you enjoy (for the most part) what you’re doing, you’ll do it for longer🙌🏼
✌🏻 The chocolate, snack or glass of wine on their own aren’t ‘bad’, its lack of control or over consuming those things that could be detrimental🤷🏼♀️
✌🏻 You can’t always be 100%, but your 100% for that day or week is enough🥰
✌🏻 Crocs are the comfiest MF’s ever😮💨

✌🏻 What your body looks like is probably the least interesting thing about you, you will be the only person who really cares

📱I really really have got to get off my phone more - genuine addiction😬
💆🏼♀️ Getting out your normal environment opens up so many thoughts and possible actions
⏳ I waste soooo much time, usually without even realising (back to the phone thing)
🥰 It’s so fricking important for me to always be striving to the best partner, friend, sister, daughter, coach and athlete I can be
🤷🏼♀️ The more I know and learn about myself and the world, the less I really know - it’s crazy how much we think we’ve got it all figured out sometimes but really we know so so little😱
I always go home with a new found energy and drive to push hard

With very little belief that she could actually complete them

I’m so proud of Beckii and all the hard work she’s put into her fitness goals
Improving and pushing herself every week
And now has the belief and confidence that she absolutely CAN DO IT💪🏻🥹
Once you prove you can, there’s no stopping you🙌🏼
The best way to build belief in yourself is by doing, show up, do the work and little by little it’ll become possible😮💨
