And that’s a wrap! PGL 2024 ✅

A final morning of sausages and hash browns, followed by climbing, zip wire and sensory trail to finish off an absolutely fantastic week, and what’s more, the sun has shone for us all morning ☀️

After a quick lunch of fish and chips to fill our tums, we did our final room checks and are now safely aboard the coach and making our way back to you all 😊 There have been some tears as we say goodbye to PGL but I am confident that the gang are bringing back so many memories that will stay with them for life.

See you all very soon! Current ETA is 17:45, traffic dependent of course!

The final night has drawn to a close! We have had SO much fun at the disco, dancing to everything from Baby Shark to Rick Astley 🕺🪩

Jacob’s ladder and Aeroball were both a huge success; the gang did a great job of supporting each other and using their teamwork skills to help everyone reach the top! A busy night ahead now as we attempt to find our missing socks, pack our bags, find something else under the bed, repack our bags… you get the idea 😂 Good luck with the washing tomorrow 🫣

Final two activities tomorrow and then we say Au Revior to the gorgeous Dorset Coast and head back to Sunny (?) Banbury!

PGL 12.09.24 - AM

A slow and groggy wake-up this morning! Another beautifully sunny start; bacon butties for some at breakfast and plenty of bowls of porridge being eaten! We all had the giant swing and problem solving on our morning agenda - a great morning of activities! We did have a light shower of rain but the sun has come back out to play now. ☀️ Our bunch did well to master their fear of heights and had great fun on the giant swing, with beautiful views across Weymouth and Portland from the top too.

We have just devoured some burgers and chips for lunch, followed by our last visit to the shop, where more sweets were purchased (thank goodness for the disco tonight to burn off the sugar!)
Our afternoon consists of aeroball and Jacob’s ladder; two more brilliant challenges for us to tackle 💪🏼

Water-sports ✅
We have completed our water activities for the week, our wet clothes are hanging out to dry (they smell delightful 🫣) and we are refreshed for the evening. The paddle-boarding and kayaking was a huge hit with the children, they thoroughly enjoyed working together, playing games, and most importantly, getting wet!
Curry night for dinner tonight - what a treat! Sadly, the weather didn’t hold for us this evening, meaning that campfire has been transformed into a makeshift one inside, but the gang are having fun, singing songs and eating marshmallows 🔥
We’ve had a glorious day of singing, splashing and sunshine, with all the children working hard to challenge themselves! A tremendous effort from our gang!

It’s goodnight from us, as we try to remove ‘I want it that way’ by the Backstreet Boys from our brains as we drift off to sleep…

Phew, the sun has returned today! ☀️ Another fabulous, fun-filled morning has been had today, starting with sausages on the breakfast menu - yum! Children then went on to brave the trapeze, with many facing their fears and taking the leap (quite literally!)
Our second activity this morning was laser tag; a great way to burn all our energy and work up our appetite before another trip to the dining hall for lunch. It’s been a beautiful morning, the sun is shining, kids are chatting away and showing great support for each other - lots of smiling faces today 😊☀️

Back on the coach now to head to the sailing centre - Kayaking and Paddle-boarding here we come!! 🚣🌊
