My Dessert Club is a lot more than that- we’re a family of normal folk who are passionate about providing the vibes first and desserts second 💜. But above all else, the welfare of our team is most important to us.

With this in mind, we’ve made the extremely difficult decision to close Monday 18th and Tuesday 19th July in light of the unprecedented red alert weather warning, due to the extremely high temperatures we’re anticipating 🔥

A heartfelt message to our lovely loyal customers:

There’s no avoiding it. Everything is becoming more expensive and in an unprecedented way. We’re no different- our stocks cost us more, we’re increasing the pay we give our staff from 1st of April and also pay our drivers more than ever before in response to the ever-rising cost of fuel. Our utility bills are literally doubling, and for a couple of regular blokes wanting to serve luxury desserts to the fine people of Barnsley things are getting tough.

Having said all of this, we’re holding off increasing our menu prices in response to the events in the past couple of months, and will hold off doing this for as long as possible. We don’t want to do what every other business does and simply pass the cost onto the loyal customer. We promise to hang in there for as long as we physically can. All we ask if that you continue enjoying our desserts, continue recommending us and continue leaving your fab reviews for us online.

On a lighter note, we’re very excited to launch our Easter menu soon- we’re sure you’ll love it ☺️
