This week's job of taking the bath out and creating a shower area as getting in the bath was becoming a problem for this old couple .

Thought this might be a better post on my page than personal account .
But I'm reaching out for raffle and tombola prizes for a local charity event .

A few photos from this weeks ensuite job

Old broken tiled floor replaced with new vinyl click flooring / old flooring that was under tiles replaced then ply lined before new flooring was fitted .
New toilet and radiator fitted and a pvc trim fitted around bottom of tiles just to freshen up the look .

All achieved in 1.5 days which is more cost effective than retiling .

Loads of different styles of flooring available

Nice day out in the garden giving Double Ds a few tweaks 😁

Wall hung basin and fully back to wall toilet .
Cladded ceiling with black spot lights and inline extractor fan.
Black stone effect shower tray / walk in shower glass with flipper panel .
Black duel rain shower and virtical radiator .
Floor finished in a herringbone patterned vinyl covering.

All compliments each other realy well 👌

Latest shower room job just completed .
Moving soilpipe under the floor to remove the step into the shower
Lowering ceiling for height of shower wall boards used in shower area
Cladding ceiling and adding spot lights .

Little shower room made out of this tiny space for a young lad in his 1st home.

Heres 1 I made earlier .
Just called back to fit the end panels on units and finish off pipe boxing

When u av to go through the cardboard bin after work cos the wife's asking why I'm ordering sailor Jerry's from amazon.

This weeks ensuite refit for a returning customer .

No burst pipes on this job just a typical poorly installed shower tray and cubicle.

Fail proof upstands so water cant run off the tray if seals fail .
But when the tray is fitted before the plasterboard and then not sealed before the cubicle is fitted the water goes behind the tiles sits behind them due to the upstands then soaks up the back of the tiles causing this problem of everything going mouldy and then breaking down .
Luckily this 1 didnt make it through onto the floor due to plasterboard soaking it up .
A thing to look out for with upstand trays used in new build propertys 👌

Little 2 day job taking out shower cubicle / tray and tiles in shower area. Replacing it all with new products and shower wall boards .
New electric shower was fitted and new toilet and basin

Little job taking out a tiled in bath / repairing tiles and fitting a free standing 1.
Making a platform for it to sit on to hide the pipework and also replacing the basin unit with a new twin bowl traditional style 1 with brushed brass fittings .
Keeping it all inkeeping with what was previously fitted .

Ps I didnt manage to take any before pictures just a few progress 1s

A great way to brainstorm future plans .
A weekend wouldn't be normal if I'm not thinking about work 😁

Little job swapping washer and dish washer over to other side of kitchen so wall can come down to create an open plan orangery.
Had to change conventional pannel radiator for a vertical type to make this all happen

Basin unit added in place of wall hung basin to hide pipework.

Heres some before and after pictures of my last bathroom of 2023 .
Just ready for decorating and give it the final touches.

Spacious cloakroom just completed.

No before pictures but it was full rip out of free standing wash basin / toilet / floor tiles & moving radiator pipework before refitting .

Latest job creating more space and a more practical bathroom for my customers.
