A fantastic Schwartz round today with inspiring stories of the experiences “in the deep end” from senior members of staff.
An incredibly valuable opportunity to share reflections and insights both personally and professionally in a confidential space.
My favourite take-home from this session was the acknowledgment that we often assume that senior staff do not have any self-doubt. Feelings of unworthiness, anxiety and “imposter syndrome” occur at every level. There will always be new challenges as the NHS constantly adapts and there is value in speaking to each other.
The next Schwartz round will be in October. Keep an eye out on your emails and please attend if you are able 💙

(There is free lunch if none of the above persuaded you to attend enough)
