Quay sports retail shop will now be closed from this coming Friday 14.6.24. The reasoning behind this is Chris (Shop Manager) is actually starting his own new venture (Completly sepearate from Quay Sports) in Barnstaple called Barnstaple Bait & Tackle and an agreement has been made for our stock. We wish Chris all the best for the future, he is looking to be open around the 1st July so show him as much support as possible to keep a shop in Barnstaple.

Chris headed out with with his lad last weekend. With only a small window to fish due to the amount of w**d currently they had a great time with Alfie-Joe landing his first smoothound alongside plenty of school Bass.

🚨 BOAT BROKEN INTO AT INSTOW 🛥
One of out regular customers Bob Huxtable has unfortunately had his stuff taken from his boat overnight Sunday 12.5.24. Boat was moored at Instow in front of North Devon Yacht Club. Someone must of entered via another boat and stole a lot of equipment, Drum of petrol, wet weather clothes, off shore flare kit (Seen being set off later on), 2 fishing rods with reels and a bunch of lures and tackle. The boat is a 165 warrior named Hilbre if anyone has any further information please contact Bob on 07971493815. Police and Yacht club have been informed. Lets try and rally together to get Bobs gear back, he is such a lovely gentleman and deserves better.
