We are also now prepared to book in anything motorbike/quad/ride on mower related. These jobs will be taken on by my dad who has 30+ years experience in motorcycle mechanics.

Skoda kodiaq front door repairs sorted recently. The front door had been shunted forwards by a caravan so needed a fair bit of fettling to get the door opening correctly again. Rear door and wing blended to ensure good match. New door moulding ordered and fitted. Please give us a call or message to book in your car.

The MK3 Mini shell I have been helping with has now had its underside painted. Prepped completely, welds dressed, epoxy primed, gravitex stonechip applied then 2k top coat on top. This will protect the car for many years to come and far better than the original finish. Please contact us for anything classic mini related! 🤟🏻🤪

Engine swap done recently on this mk5 golf 2.0 tdi. Oil pump failure on the original engine caused it to seize and ruin the turbo in the process. Second hand engine sourced by the owner. Engine built up with new cam belt, thermostat, rocker gasket, turbo, oil pickup pipe cleaned, duel mass kit and all new fluids. Car is now running perfectly back with the owner. Had these steels banded 2.5” by Damian in Tiverton. Prepped and painted in solid grey 2k. 🤟🏻. We always prefer to have wheels acid dipped and/or sandblasted prior to painting this ensures no nasty old paint or corrosion is left on the wheels. The latest big project in the workshop is this BMW e30. This has been a track car for most of its life but now having a m3 kit fitted and lots of goodies added to eventually be a road legal track car. We have already spent a fair amount of time sorting out welding and rust on this can’t wait to get the kit on! Exterior of shell is now in epoxy primer after spending extensive hours removing all the old paint and surface rust. 😀

Here’s a bunch of shiny stuff sorted out during the last few weeks. Off on holiday now for a week back to work on the 3rd of June. Will aim to answer messages as best as I can during time off. Cheers 🤪

Latest big Job that was completed early in the month. Honda Civic type R full refresh minus back bumper and tailgate. Rust and clear coat peel sorted all over the front end and roof. All plastic trims repaired and painted. Quarter panel windows removed/refitted by pro glass. This will be back to have the wheels and rear bumper done in winter. 😀🤟🏻

Recently completed Landrover 110 Full Respray in Aintree green pearl. This is one of the last ones produced sadly was involved in a roll over. Nothing to worry about new quarter panel, wing, doors,bonnet, tailgate, roof and repairs to the bulkhead. Rear tub given a coat of raptor bed liner. Few pictures of a mini shell I’m helping out with at JD autos. Some people may have seen a couple pictures of it in my stories already! This one’s having everything. Early mk3 shell so some slight differences from the norm. It’s having nearly every panel except pillars and roof. 🤪

Something bit different on this Vauxhall mokka. Original paint bonnet had started to flake off so needed to be fully stripped back to bare metal, epoxy primed, primed and then re-painted in its 3 stage metallic blue. 😎🤪

Volkswagen Golf MK6 recently completed. Rear door repaired, sill repaired,B pillar repaired and rear bumper scuffs sorted out. Second hand front door supplied by customer as the original was too far gone to repair. Please contact us for quotes, advice on your damage and to book in! 😀🤪

Bmw 320d wheels given a freshen up. These had to be sent for acid dipping to remove the nasty aerosol paint that had been used before. New front discs and pads installed aswell. Drop us a message to get your wheels sorted 🤟🏻😀

Lovely little fiesta that came in for some minor repairs and paintwork. This has had an engine conversion done and all welding sorted previously. Managed to squeeze this quick refresh in on my MK6 Volkswagen Golf over Xmas and new year. All dents and rust on sills repaired. GTI front and rear bumpers fitted. New wings fitted. Wheels refurbished. Full respray in Thunder purple metallic 🤪.

Volkswagen scirroco project completed before Xmas. Nice to work on something a bit unusual for a change. Found few nasty bits of rust under the full bodykit. Repair panels not available for these so a mk2 arch needed to be adapted to fit and other sections made up from sheet metal. Bodykit bits all given a fresh coat of satin black and bonded back onto the car. Fully resprayed in Volkswagen Black magic pearl. 😍 Drop me a message to get booked in. 🤟🏻

Mazda 6 front wing and bumper repairs and paint. P/s doors scratches polished out and a new mirror fitted. 😀

Another Rover mini MPI from last month 😀. This one started off as needing pair of door skins/frame repairs and ended up having a complete front end! Full sides painted and new decals put on. This one’s on wedding duty’s in February so needs to look it’s best! Contact us for anything classic mini!! 🤟🏻

Honda crv wing and front bumper repair. The dent puller made light work of this fairly bad wing dent. Front bumper scuffs repaired on both sides.

Mercedes front bumper full strip down, prime and paint. This was covered in chips, lacquer peel, scuffs and previous blown in repairs. Only way to sort it correctly was full rub down and high build the whole bumper before top coats. 🤪

Volkswagen T4 MOT repairs sorted sills, doorsteps, rear quarter and general rust repairs. These have been blown in for now to protect them van will eventually be having a full respray. We always prefer to put in proper repair panels as they make for a more neat long lasting job. 😀

Big Land Rover Defender 90 rebuild we completed last month. All major dents/damage removed, windows out full respray, full van conversion including tailgate to rear door swap, suspension/steering upgrades, rear crossmember repair/paint, bucket seats fitted and MOTed ready for the road. See pictures of what it looked like before we started this truck has had an amazing turn around! 😍

Ford Ka rear quarter, door and rear bumper repair sorted out last week. The rear arch was fairly dented on this one but took care of it using the dent puller. Rear bumper split on both sides so plastic welded and repaired.

First show for my brothers Toyota supra at Slammed UK gravity show this weekend. This was our lockdown project before I went self employed. Full strip down, ridox bodykit fitted, arches tubbed, sills stripped/stone chipped and everything prepped and primed. Sent off to SW Bodyworks LTD for final paint. Looked amazing today and getting plenty of attention!! 😀

Wheels!!! Plenty of wheel refurbs going through the workshop recently. Can be acid dipped and fully painted inside/out or just a face refurb for quick refresh. Drop us a message to arrange.

Mk1 Austin mini project we have just completed. Originally booked in for a quick respray but quickly realised it needed a fair bit more work. Full front end, rear repairs, quarter repairs and a new genuine boot/bonnet. We have also upgraded the front brakes to cooper 7.5 discs. This has been a nice one to do knowing it’s a local car that’s never left the area. Old English white with a tartan red roof. This is one of two mk1s completed this month we will soon be looking to book in the next long term mini restoration. 😀
