All the canvas is now covered but still not finished, will have to go over it all and finish the detail. But I will have to put it to one side again as I have another commission to do! So the next time I show this painting it should be finished!

Whilst shopping yesterday bumped into someone I haven't seen for a number of years, she has commissioned a number of paintings from me, this was the first one which I painted for her. Again my photo isn't very good the painting is so much better!

Hoping for a nice day tomorrow as I am going to Cheltenham races. I was going to see Constitution Hill but he doesn't run now! I've already got my ticket so will go anyway! This is taking so long and I still have a lot to do! But it is starting to come together a bit now!

A recent commission, I have had to wait to post this as it was a birthday present. Glad to say that they were very pleased with it!

Hi everyone, I haven't posted for a while as I have been busy doing some commissions, I can't show them as they are presents for Christmas! But here are a couple of previous commissions!

Took a couple of nights to get the legs right!

Been busy the last two nights and hopefully finish the legs tonight!

If only I didn't have to work and I could spend more time painting! This is taking a lot of work but starting to get somewhere with it now!

I have also been adding to an old painting that I had started and not finished! I think it will be great when it's finished. Fingers crossed!

Have been doing a bit to my painting and just about finished the jockeys now!

This is a portrait of my grandson that I painted a couple of years ago! I think that it has captured his cheeky happy side!

Work has been a bit slow as my grandson has been down for a couple of weeks, but finished the background now! And then I will start the exciting bits, the horse's and jockeys!

As well as drawing my racing picture I have painted this small oil painting of a wire haired pointing griffon!

Hope you can see this photo, its a bit smudge. Been working over the last couple of weeks to get this right, but now the drawing is finished I can start painting! I think it's going to take a while! It's of three horse's that made the best finish of the South West Pointing season when they finished a Dead Heat and a Short Head and they were also in that position four fences out! Flaminger, Vermilion Cliffs and Ask Nile.

' Superglued On ' I was at the last point-to-point meeting at Chapelton Barton last Saturday and took this photograph of my friend Jake Bament riding Conor's Gift, How did he stay on! This will have to become a painting soon I think!

I have just finished this oil painting of Mr W. Biddick riding his 500th winner on Don't Ask Us last year! After many hours of making changes, I am really happy with the finished work!
