Thank you for taking the time to look at and comment on my stuff; I’m not prolific and my posts are sometimes few and far between. I still have to work to subsidise my drawing habit but I’ve had a number of commissions come in the past few weeks to keep me busy for a while…I’m delighted😃

Good morning all, I’m off to hospital for surgery on my leg today, an operation to speed up the healing process after breaking it a week ago.
No drawing done for a week I’m afraid, I can’t even sit down comfortably…🙁.

Hi all, I’ve managed to fracture my leg and am hurting rather a lot tbh. I can’t get to the studio to get drawing and I’m feeling pretty miserable. My customer is coming to collect his commission today though, I hope he likes it, hope you all do too, that would cheer me up hugely.

My customer has allowed me to show you a sneaky peak of the commission I have undertaken. This new house is set in a beautiful valley so there are still lots of trees and toning to draw which will add to the depth and perspective. I’ve still a fair way to go, but I just wanted to let you know I’m not slacking😉

I’ve acquired a couple of exciting new commissions this past week which will be keeping me busy. I visited one customer this week with Nick Harborne Photography to get some High Definition pictures of the house using the drone…he nailed it! Thanks Nick, great work👍

Good evening. I’m really proud and excited to be entering the 2 below original pictures in this exhibition.
There will be lots of amazing work on display from local artists, all for sale, and all themed on our coasts and waterways. Proceeds go to a brilliant cause so please come over for a look👍😎✍️

My mum passed away very recently and she was my biggest fan, so it means a lot to hear what you’re saying, believe me❤️

Having just framed this I’m feeling very proud to announce it has been selected to be exhibited in the RNLI Exhibition at Instow Yacht Club. It’s being held over the weekend of 20th to 22nd October. The theme is ‘Coasts and rivers’ and this will be for sale along with many other local artists’ work. More details to follow, thanks for looking😎🖤🤍

A tad more darkening to the trees to do but I don’t mind admitting I’m sad to see this leave my board. So many memories have come flooding back throughout🖤🤍

I decided to go for the ‘tide out’ option on the harbour (I like a challenge😉!) and suddenly this boat started appearing from the mist…
Still a long way to go but I’m going to enjoy adding the tone to enhance the shadows, trees and fine detail further…(and John Fowlers of course).

Happy Sunday to you all. Definitely a day for drawing today🌧️ so I just wanted to show you what I’ve been up to over the last few days. Obviously still a long way to go, loads of trees, rocks, tone, a boat AND Bobbies bakes to add. I’m tackling this drawing in a different style than my usual using smoother lines and blending, then adding defined lines…watch this space.
