Don’t forget to utilise resistance bands!
•
“Why would I use one on a leg extension?”
•
Using bands on a leg extension allows the load to be the greatest at the hardest point of the movement where you will have recruited the most muscle fibres, meaning you’ll be working your quads a lot harder.

For years we have been told by the media to avoid adding salt into our diet to try and lower the risk of CV disease, to decrease stress and to lower blood pressure! 🧐
But why is that??
There are plenty of health benefits from consuming salt.
There are people who may benefit from a low sodium diet such as those with high blood pressure or individuals who are overweight but the general population do NEED sodium in our diet.
Our bodies need sodium to help regulate many of the bodies functions such as nutrient transportations, the metabolism, blood regulation and our salt to water ratio.
Electrolytes such as salt possess an electrical charge which are vital to mechanical movement, impulse transmission and cardiovascular function.
There is no exact answer to how much salt one person should consume as there are so many different factors that come into play but there still needs to be a HEALTHY balance!
There are still healthier options of salt as it can be over processed where they use bleaching agents - Celtic Sea Salt and Pink Himalayan Salt are rid of any chemicals but as also high in other trace minerals.
