Happy new year to you all.

Sorry it's a bit late. With Christmas and a few health issues and everything else we didn't really get a chance to catch up and count things.

Today we did a count up and the total we took on the day was a massive £5,442!

Thank you again to everyone that helped out, donated, came along, bought raffle tickets etc

It makes all the hard work beforehand worth it and to be able to put it back into the school to enhance school experience for the pupils.

Well done to all the staff and pupils today at their Christmas production. You all did amazing!!!

We still have Fidget Advent calendars available for £12.50. If anyone would like to purchase one they can be collected from school or possibly sent home with your child (?). Payment can be made by bank transfer, PayPal or sending the money in. Advents are selected at random.

Money from the calendars goes towards the total for the Christmas fete.

Who have donated vouchers for the fete on the 25th November

Thank you also to Bond Lovis who are sponsoring the event meaning we have been able to get in some reindeers from Essex Reindeer Hire

Afternoon all.

With half term approaching and only just over a month before the fete we kindly ask for help with donation items for the fete.

Anything you can spare no matter how small all goes a long way.

I've set up an amazon wishlist as well so if you find you can't send anything in or get anything to the school you can order off this.

We need:

Bottles of any kind (new and sealed)
Chocolate and sweets
Tombola prizes (sealed/good condition)
Christmas food and drink.items.
Raffle.prizes (can provide a letter with charity number on of needed)

All these can be brought in after half term.

Your time (either on the day or before)

Cakes and biscuits nearer the time.

WIN £1,000 for your school's library! We’re giving five schools £1,000/€1,000 of National Book Tokens plus membership to the School Library Association, to help them rebuild their range of books - PLUS one overall winner will receive £500/500 towards revamping their library space! The School looking great with it's decorations for celebrating the Kings coronation.

If you want to send any pictures of your children dressed in red white and blue that you are happy to go on our social media pages please do.

The school is registered with the Neighbourly scheme. Thanks to them and B&Q Basildon, we received this donation of surplus plants.

These will be used in the garden at the back of the school and encourages the children to improve their gardening skills and how to look after plants.

They also make great sensory resources with lots of different textures and smells.

One of the fundraising projects for the school this year is to improve the library. It is currently looking a bit bare. 😢

The school currently pays an annual service to rent books so would love to buy all of their own books.

To have a little corner to have a sensory area for children to have sensory story time, similar to the one at Basildon library.

A wonderful archway to bring the library to life and possibly some more wall art!!

Look out for fundraising events and activities throughout the year to help fund this and other long term projects.

Thank you to Nigel at Shayes Arts for the 2 new stunning wall arts to add to the one already in the school.

Each break out room in each lower, middle and upper school gives a place to go if any child becomes overwhelmed and needs time away from their class.

The painting is amazing and can't wait to see the children's faces.
