We currently have a number of mobility aids for sale in our shop in Church Street, Basingstoke, all of which have been donated to us and are in good condition. We also have a number of ex-fleet scooters for sale, each priced up at £120. So if you're looking for a bargain, then pop in and see us and check out what's available.

It's time to get those thinking caps on again as our Hostess with the Mostess Mel will be showcasing another of our very popular and hugely entertaining Quiz Nights on Friday 16th September at the Church Cottages just off of Church St in Basingstoke town centre.

The Quiz begins at 7.30pm but it's best to get there a little earlier to secure your choice of table and settle in. Teams made up of 6 are welcome or if you prefer, join in on any other table to make up the numbers.

Tickets are £4 each and are available by visiting us at our Shopmobility Centre or by calling Mel on 07788426380. On the night you will need to bring your own drinks and maybe some nibbles and if you fancy, a few extra coins to enter the optional raffle.

This is a wonderful fundraiser and goes a long way to support the essential service we provide to those needing mobility assistance and is a fantastic event to be a part of, so don't miss out; get your tickets now and brush up on your general knowledge. We hope to see you on the night.

Shopmobility is proud to advise notification that we have received the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service in an announcement from Buckingham Palace to mark the Queen’s Jubilee Celebrations. This prestigious award (equal to an MBE) is on behalf of all the Staff, and Volunteers over the past 25 years who have helped make our service the success it is today. Thank you from the Team.

Just a quick reminder to say that we will be at the ever-popular Festival of Transport tomorrow from 8am, so why not come along, say hi and perhaps hire one of our scooters or wheelchairs.

Following the lifting of our Government restrictions relating to Covid-19, Shopmobility is now getting back to nomal.

Our Opening times are now as follows..

Monday – Friday 09.00hrs to 16.30hrs
(equipment returned 15 minutes before closing time please)

Saturday 09.00hrs – 16.00hrs
(equipment returned 15 minutes before closing time please)

Sunday’s Closed – Collection from Festival Place is available by prior arrangement.

Please note we are closed on Bank, and National Holidays.

For the near future we will continue to sanitise our equipment before and after use, and retain certain restrictions within our Reception Area. These measures are for your safety – which is of prime importance to the Team.

Normally coming up towards Christmas, Shopmo’ carry out a Gift Wrapping Service in The Malls. Sadly, for obvious reasons we are unable to go ahead this year. However we will be offering a limited service in our Centre in Lower Church Street between the hours of 09.00-15.30 hrs (Monday to Saturday). So bring your Gifts along, and leave it to us. A nominal minimum of £1.00 per parcel donation would be welcomed to support our Charity.

Following the Government clarification announcements today (26th November) Shopmo’ Basingstoke will re-open for business on WEDNESDAY 2nd December at 9.00am through to 4.00pm (last return 3.45pm please).

Please remember we are entering the busy Christmas period, and it would be preferable if you could book your Scooter in advance. If you are not able to – we will do everything we can to meet with your needs. Thank you for your continued support.

*Quiz night update*

It is with regret that we are unable to go ahead with the Quiz night that was scheduled for Friday 27th March. As soon as we are able to, we will secure another date for this fun and popular event. In the meantime, make some time to brush up on those general knowledge skills as the next event will hopefully be soon enough.

Mobility scooter for sale

We are currently selling this Class 3 mobility scooter that is designed both for use on the road as well as on pavements.

Boasting great power, performance and driving features, whether you’re popping down to the shops, taking trips into town, or travelling further afield, the Invacare Comet will serve to provide comfort and safety.

Although used, it is in very good condition. The selling price is £2,000 but we are happy to discuss any reasonable offer and payment options.
