24 hours complete with a finishing position of 5th. We are all so very pleased with our results considering it was our first experience competing as a group as opposed to against each other.

We undertook just less than 700 gruelling laps of the famous Imola circuit.
After our qualifying position of P8 on the grid we knew we had a fight on our hands. Sadly due to a racing incident within the first few laps we found ourselves in 10th place. I'm so pleased that we brought it back and held onto what we believed was a fantastic position given our competition.

The most overwhelming factor of this all is that I set us a goal of £500 worth of donations. And on this Monday morning we are still receiveing donations to a current total of £963.85. Totally stoked! We even received an anonymous £200 donation yesterday to totally send us way over our target.

I myself have attended the three official practice sessions and also two other sessions in order to gain the best level of experience prior to the lights turning green.

Myself and 5 other friends (Wheel Men) are competing in a simulated motorsport 24hr (real time) endurance race event held at The Race Centre in Chandlers Ford for Children In Need. Using lifelike cockpit simulator controls you'll experience in a race car with 9 other competeing teams battling it out for a podium finish.

We have setup a JustGiving page with a goal of £500 to donate to Children In Need (ontop of the £300 we as Wheel Men are donating) and we need your help to reach this target. Please give whatever you can to aid us in this great cause and help those in need.
